I don't know about in Igloo, but as a whole the Federation may be a dysfunctional, corrupted bureaucracy, but Zeon is pretty much literally space nazis. Their solution to every problem is genocide and at more than one point in the timeline their explicit goal is to wipe out every single human that doesn't live in space because in the eyes of Zeon they're space aryans and everyone else is the Jews (And cripples, mentally disabled, gay, gypsies, etc. The nazis liked killing lots of different people, and probably just killing to be honest.)

Even Titan (transformable mobile armor fetish), Axis (psycoframe and funnel fetish), and Neo Zeon (Doga and Zulu fetish) dont even try to realize it. most shockingly Zeon remnant with all old model assembled......(even those all odd Zeon see unit) dont have it.... that only mean the plan is lost just like all other unit that stoped being developed during end of one year war
If I was in charge I would have had both the Zaku and Zudah put into production. Just save the Zudahs for experienced pilots who could handle it safely and make good use of its higher performance.
They mass-produced the shit out of the Gelgoog what are you talking about? The reason they lost wasn't because of that, it was the lack of trained pilots to use them.
Ah the Zudah, The Speed Archtype of the Zeon Army. it's a shame this unit had such a nasty issue with the engine's overheating....if they had fixed that, the Zeon could have won the war in Space...
BlitzkriegOmega not really as it's thruster array was too unstable the Zaku had a more flexible version instead of 1 large thruster it had several medium thrusters plased throughout giving better modifications for ace units.
yup, IGLOO is Canon, and yes, the GM's also exploded, BEFORE the Zudah did, after being laughed at by a bunch of GM pilots about the faults of the Zudah, Luc, the pilot, proceeded to show them that he EMS-10 Zudah, was 10 times better than The Zaku, and apparently, 9 times better than the GM, after killing one of them and attempting to run around earth, the GM's started to break apart, they seemed to have the same fault as the Zudah, but slightly worse, though Luc still couldn't save himself and died the same way most Zeon pilot do, with smiles on their faces.
I think the flaws are slightly different. The Zudah's problem was that past a certain limit the mobile suit will uncontrollably accelerate until it broke apart or blew up. The GM's problem was that it wasn't able to withstand the same amount of G force as the Zudah rather than its engine accelerating uncontrollably (in fact unlike the Zudah the GM's boosters shorted out after too much strain is put on it)
I just want to say... and this is my opinion and I'll get flak for it, I like the GMs design more, and the GMs weren't completely useless, just the difference with the GM and the Zaku is that the GM focuses more on quantity over quality wheres the Zaku is the opposite. *looks at the railroad* here comes the hate train.
The problem I find with GMs were you couldn't push them as hard and had Grandpa's thruster layout minus his level of manuverability. The feds short changed their grunts when you realise a Zaku still has a reasonable chance of killing you. The Zudah has a layout that lets it do insane movements akin to Dom units when on the ground, fast and hard to read and react against since it doesn't need to shift its silloutte so drastically for a single step forward or full rotation of the suit to get the upper hand on opponents. Zudah's small frame and loadout potential makes it a realiable ace unit. All it needed was stronger limiters as a heat hawk alone is enough to penetrate luna titanium

確かに。デュバルはヅダの開発に携わっていたが、コンペに敗北して日の目を見れなくなった。ソンネンは戦車兵の教官だったが、自分はMS転換適正ではねられたにもかかわらず、(しかしこれは本部がわざとしたという説あり)育てた戦車兵がどんどんMS乗りに変わってゆくのを見て絶望した方なので、何か心にくるものがありますよね。

ヅダは特殊機構の土星エンジンのせいでコスパがザクより1.5倍高いしツィーマッド社オリジナルの土星エンジン(エンジン直結型可動式単一ロケットブースター。出力高く空中分解する)をジオニック式土星エンジン(既存エンジンと可動式単一ロケットブースターを直結型から間隔を空け間にホースで繋げ合わせ大まかに設計図面見直しして改良し直しリミッター解除してもフル稼働可能にしたランドセル型土星エンジン)にしコスパを1.0倍に抑えないと採用は無理
