Substituted this and a bunch of other music for the stuff in MSGO. It was pretty cool. Although, it also got kind of intense. Some of the original BGM's from the show are nerve wracking.
in Gundam Generation series (before overworld), one of the hardest stage was that one stage against Gouf Custom ... where I had to protect the guntanks and prevent any of my squad from dying. (any one of them dead and its game over).

I loved a lot of the other gundam series, but I kind like the realistic tone this series had with operation star dust being second. Gundam wing and Gundam 00 are my personal favorite. But I loved how 8th ms team focused on soldiers and about what happens in the war unlike most other Gundam series. Though Operation star dust is second after this, no over top battles like we constantly see in other gundam series. Listening to this music makes me wish they bring more gundam games out that isn't dynasty gundam
+Ming Dao Feng 08th team is unique because we see the war from the perspective of ordinary grunts, not Newtype superheroes. It's quite refreshing actually. Some of the same kind of 'grunt work' could be seen in the more recent Unicorn OVA, e.g. that Jegan pilot in the opening scene of the 1st ep. Now that was some badass grunt work.
+redDL89 that's why I liked 8th ms team of all the series, you realize both sides are really not good just like in real life. I love see more gundam series in future that like the 8th ms team, focus on group of soldiers or mercenaries rather than young super hero mobile suits heros that save the day. ^^ Perhaps MS Pilot like this or something like from Battle Bad Company or something.
+Ming Dao Feng and thus we got iron blooded orphans (where human trafficking, child soldiers, PMC's, political maneuvering, and some particularly gruesome death is rampant; Its really takes Gundam back to its core roots of questing why humans keep fighting each other even though nothing good really comes of it)
RX-79G Gundam Ground type. 20 were made and 8 were given to the Kojima Battalion the EZ8 managed to get 4 of these bad boys. These were an answer to the GM's Failing and ultimately there test data was used to build the GM Ground Type and The GM Sniper
How Ez8 is a better mobile suit than the base gundam ground types is a little baffeling. It has a stronger reactor and better protection around the cockpit, but that shouldn't mean its able to survive a magella cannon's 175mm shells without a scratch. Especially if its hit right on by it. Still though, I love Ez8 for what it is
It would have been a great rendezvous by force scene theme as they shot there way through to survival in a primal show of force and unity as they fight from night to sunrise.

I feel a lot sadder today, but still enjoy listening to this tune.

It got a protagonist coating as well, to give it plot armor.
Apparently the front was made of 2 Zaku Shields and giving an Antenna for better communitcation
