You are right. An amazing SUV but the center console is lacking. I have an Audi Q7 and love everything about it except the storage in the center console.
Finally, someone found the extra compartment by the driver’s left knee. Thank you. I also judge a car on their cup holders, the same way for salsa at Mexican restaurants.
I bought one as a second car to my minivan. We use the minivan for road trips so having an electric as our second car works great for us. The e-tron is a great family car, except for the effing cupholders. A sonic soda cup will fit, but any other fast food place? Forget it. A yeti coffee cup? No chance. We also went with the premium plus in galaxy blue with the brown interior. Don't think the prestige is worth it unless you really want massaging seats (and they're SUPER hard to find). It's also nice to get the tow hitch, which is only like $850, but gives you a ton of versatility. The e-tron can tow up to 4000 pounds (but your range drops to about 100 miles if you're towing that much).

Just bought a 2022 e-tron a few weeks ago. I went from a Toyota Sequoia to an e-tron. We live in Arizona and I have a teen and a tween. I can attest to the surprising lack of storage (I mean, it’s an electric car!WHERE IS THE AMPLE STORAGE?! Lol) and to the what the heck were they thinking cup holders 🤦🏼♀ We bring water bottles everywhere and some of them do not even fit in the door. I had 5 cup holders in the Sequoia and I could put a laptop and file folders in the center console- I don’t even have space for basics in the e-tron. I am also experiencing the problem of the charger not letting go… so far have not had to call for service buuuuuuut I don’t know if that will be in my future.. The third complaint is the sunroof gets blazing hot and radiates heat. Mine came tinted but it’s not enough and we are not even into summer yet. The positives are it drives great. I like that the infotainment is spread out AND I like that there are still some physical buttons and you don’t need to push a screen for everything to function. Not EVERYTHING needs an electronic button. Oh - the massage feature, that is pretty nice too.

Hate that its squatty in the back. That destroys so much room if your going to buy something in a big old box.. Bet to charge from 15 percent to 80 percent in a normal 15 amp standard plug its going to take a lot longer than ten hours. Bet its a full day or even day and a half
Like it better than the tesla.. also like the ford mach E. Hate tesla. So noisy inside and too much glass. Plus hate tesla will not share any parts or info with other garages or mechanics. So your stuck forever with only tesla service. And they might be far far away from you.. so audi and ford would be easier to get fixed in a pinch
