    About the Video
Many investors get confused as to which investment they should go for amongst ETFs, Index Funds and Mutual Funds. ETFs and Index Mutual Funds are both passive funds, whereas mutual funds are active funds. There are various pros and cons to active and passive investing, and we’ll discuss the similarities and differences between the two. ETF investing and Index Fund investing have been gradually increasing since the past few years, as more and more investors are flocking towards them instead of traditional active mutual funds.
We will talk in great detail about ETF vs Mutual Funds vs Index Funds, and cover differences on points like expense ratio, fund management, liquidity, efforts required, etc. ETFs and Index Funds are similar on many grounds, but have some key differences as well - as discussed in the video. Along with this, we’ll also look at past and future trends of ETF investing and index fund investing in both India and the USA. At last, we will see which investment alternative amongst ETF, Index Funds, and Mutual Funds is the best, and why investors should go for a particular investment.
In this video, we’ll cover the following concepts and questions:
    1. ETF vs Index Fund.
    2. ETF vs Mutual Funds.
    3. Index Funds vs Mutual Funds
    4. What are active mutual funds?
    5. What are passive mutual funds?
    6. Why to invest in ETFs?
    7. ETF kya hai?
    8. Index fund kya hai?
    9. Index Fund me invest kaise kare?
    10. Mutual Fund kya hai?
    11. Why invest in passive funds?
    12. Expense Ratio of investments.
    13. How to do mutual funds investment?
    14. Index Funds vs Mutual Funds.
    15. Mutual Funds vs ETF.
    16. ETF vs Mutual Funds vs Index Funds.
    17. Past and Future Trends of passive investing in India and USA.

Productivity is never by mishap, I had a large portfolio of $316k invested in stocks left to me by my late father. I hired a licensed Financial advisor, Lisa Michelle Pacillas to handle it for me 2years ago and currently I have my portfolio diversified properly and grown to $819k

    Hi,
Please share taxation angle when buying from secondary market. for example. if we buy an SGB which is maturing in 2 years. As per understanding, it should be 0% capital gains tax as am holding till maturity (8 years of the bond). However my actual holding period is 2 years (less than 36 months so will it trigger short term tax).

Sir, kindly make a video on Total Expense Ratio (TER), which can be upto 1.29% for index fund and 2.29% for other mutual funds, which is given in SID of mutual funds. Is that applicable in ETFs also? And in SID it is mentioned that it can be maximum upto that point, but in reality it is less than that. Which companies try to charge less and which companies try to reach to that maximum limit point. Please explain through comparison video.

Most of the TH-cam investment channels tell us to invest direct in MF and not in regular (thru distributor) saving on his commission. If I have to invest in MF only why will i go for an ETF and pay annual fees for a demat account, and pay annual fees of 700 to 900 rupees.
