    That is the largest Osage trees I've seen. But then again I'm no expert.

    rule number one never cut limbs from a ladder you will eventually get hurt.

      You can make a bow! I used some for fence post as well.

    Did you not cut a notch out of the bottom for a reason? You just did two single cuts, one on bottom and one from the top.
