Perfect timing my finding this - just started taking my own z200 to bits to see me through the boredom of the lockdown. Good job with the videos ; I’m already taking lots of notes.
For my fork tubes I used a nylon wire wheel brush and they turned out amazing, better than original. Now they have a really nice brushed aluminum look to them.
Was waiting for the next upload, and here it is! My so and I just started the restoration of my 75' Z1b 900 cafe racer. Watching this while we tear down!!!
@@Beachmangarage, I've been a Kawasaki man ever since seeing Mad Max in '79. I've had at least one ever since!!! At one time, myself and a friend bought out a collection of bikes and parts, and were local and national suppliers of n.o.s. and used parts. I still have some parts. Can't wait to see how you bike turns out!
Hiya mate, I'm just doing a lock down z200 built too, any idea what the fatter back wheel was off on your build? Or was it just a fat back tyre? Lovein' the channel Karlos 👍
Steve it’s mike from New York State I luv the videos luv the builds ,, but just like I mentioned to Taylor from classic octane can you guys ever ever build a bike that doesn’t have a flat seat with a hoop it’s really old now lol 😂 sorry keep em coming I’ll still watch anyway
Hey Mike, I have the CB550 that has the rear cowl..... but it's probably gonna get a flat seat as well lolz...... the virago has a different seat, that vid will be out soon. Cheers!
Hey man I've just picked up a kz200 and I'm struggling to disassemble the carb - I cant get the float bowl off? I've removed every screw on the carb I can see and unclipped the retaining clip but the bowl just wont budge - any ideas? hit it with a hammer?

Paul Sautter the plate on the 1100 expired, not sure if I’m allowed to go anyways.
Nice one Steve! Looking forward to the future content, especially the Virago.
Thanks David, coming soon!

Nice work! I just got 78 KZ200 off Craigslist for cheap and in great condition. It will be a winter shutdown build. What size tires are going with?
Hey! Love the build videos, just got a 1977 KZ200 and am having trouble finding tires that'll fit. What type of tires are you using? Thanks!
Great job tho bud🙏👍👌

Follow up! Have you been working on this little guy anymore?
I’ve actually sold it. Filmed a final episode but sadly lost the footage. Great bike to scoot around on though. Had loads of pep! Cheers.
One thicker one thin white stripes but off to only one side of the cap

Benjamin Gray the retaining clip is the only thing holding it on, just stuck. Tap the bowl lightly with the handle of a screwdriver. Should pop off.

But it’s still a flat seat hahahahaha 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Sweet, check out my build if ya like 👍
I know instead of complaining I should give you some ideas instead,, but I’m not the creator. S
Good work Steve! Keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
