Saw this Video today! The problems mentioned by Ambika about water, heating (i.e collecting wood for fire) , electricity etc. are problems which I believe today's Technology can easily solve. For example: You can have a Back-Up Generator for Electricity; You can have Generator run Room Heaters or better still one can connect the entire house to a central heating system Which can be connected to a Back-up Generator when there is no electricity. For water you can have a proper Water Storage System using Water harvesting techniques to store enough water for the house. A heating system would ensure water is available in winter too. In short problems shared by Ambika can be taken care of by Technology which can help you easily survive the harsh winter in mountains. Think about how people live in countries like Canada which faces -30 degrees in winter & has snow for almost 7 to 8 months. So Manali in Winter should not be a big problem.
People who believe in simple living and high thinking and also people who love Nature can only survive there in mountains! Living in Nature is not for those who are fickle minded! Stay Blessed!❤️❤️
I wish to live in the mountains in future... Hope someday my dream will come true... I don't envy people who rides BMW, but I really envy those who can see snow capped mountains everyday when they wake up.
Wow! Excellent... no doubt life is a bit difficult in the mountains but nothing like peace of mind. The mad rush of a city life that takes a toll on mental well - being.Hats off to you Anamika for your life changing decision to settle in the mountains.Would love to visit your KHWABGAH whenever I am in Manali next.ALL THE BEST!👍😊

The best thing i have ever heard.... "peace ya to aapme hai ya aapme nahi"..that hit me hard. Always thought that being in mountains can make me at peace
@@augustinevalentine2804 agreed but what she said what not wrong in a sense. Yes i agree that life is mountain is all about peace, valuing the basic necessities of life which we have forgot. But the other aspect is the confusion of what do to with this life, what's the meaning of it which steals the peace. And here i agree with her that this you will have to find within yourself and any place to cannot give it to you.
Being anywhere give you peace even a late night dhaba chay with friends but moving to mountains is not about peace it's about how much you love the mother nature and how you're gonna manage to do day to day activities there. You're creating a whole new idea of living somewhere you never lived. In little timeframe mountains and trees will give you so much peace but after some days you'll be frightened by them because of survival instinct of human nature. P.S. most of the people moved there with the idea of of owning a cafe or hotel. So no peace just the fake version of it.
How beautifully she speaks. Meaning of every sentence is enhanced many folds with her facial expressions, eyes, smile. All these makes the whole story so beautiful and attractive.
Thank you for sharing all comfy and uncomfy part of being in a mountain. It helps us to take our decisions wisely. Most of the people reveal only the fun part and says its all goody and goody.
It’s said that variety is the spice of life. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. We get bored quickly -whether by the fast easy City life or by the slow harsh mountain life. We always tend to miss what we don’t have. The lure of life on the ‘other’ side fades away soon enough & you yearn for the life left behind As the girl rightly said, one doesn’t become happy or at peace because he is in the mountains. He can be equally happy in a bustling city. So… find happiness at wherever your life has placed you. You can take some breaks once in a while to recharge..
Ambika beautiful perspective coupled with her smile really made my day. Young girl yet so much wisdom. God bless her and wish her even more happiness and success to her.
I like this young bold girl taking her struggle as a challenge with out any drama.........do exactly what you decide to do......like i did four decades ago.....take care.
What she said is amazing about peace but the way she described harsh reality about planning to move to hills, she is giving a subtle message that instead of moving to hills permanently, just visit homestay for some time. That would be better option.
pahadon pe har din struggle hai. Life bhot tough he nahin rough bhi hoti hai. Jinko har cheej ghar pe home delievery ki aadat hai chahe pizza ho ya gas. unko bhool k bhi nahin sochna chahiye yhan basne ki. Jinko gas ka cylinder door step pe milta hai aur aadhe ghante peeth par utha kar pahad chadna hota hai to saari fancy dreaming khatam ho jaati hai. sardiyon main swal he nahin nall se paani ayega. To barf pe phislte huey bahut door se paani lana padta hai. Wow! You opened up your heart to all those millions of people who want to live in a cabin in the woods or on top of a valley. I also live on Kangra's Mountains a few months a year. I can feel every word you are saying. Salute your passion.
Thanks for sharing. Lovely narration. Loved the way the young lady spoke. You got many pretty places, but its the beauty inside and coming to terms with what you got, makes all the difference. One day, i would visit this place, not for the beauty around, but to talk to this lady. She spoke very well.
May be someday I will visit "Khwaab-gaah" Yahan Delhi ki busy life mein toh subah eyes open karte hi nazar ghadi ki tarf jaati hai. Mountain life is always far better than city's life.
