    I also like to attack with long pips. It is way more effective then chopping. Some people say long pips are not for attacking. While long pips do have limitations regarding offensive shots, when you train a lot and pick out the suitable balls for hitting, you definately can have your offensive long pips shots. Like this video shows, many opponents will hit the ball straight into the net.

    I attack with P-2 Curl OX, with super fast blade. I twiddle and can attack with long pips both forehand and backhand. I also use a very spinny and fast Tenergy on my inverted side, i put heavy spin on my serve, twiddle, and 3rd ball attack with long pips.

      Agreed, and chopside spin can be flipped giving your opponent, a weird sideways kicking ball ! I use a one ply hinoki blade with 1.5 mm TSP Curl P1r. The ball rockets off this blade. Because of its speed and lack of dwell time very weird returns are normal. I really can not chop block with this blade, but I can punch block and counter very well.

    Great video! I'm new to the world of LP, and each day I'm discovering how versatile they are, with a wide range of game possibilities! So, lemme ask a question: is it possible to counterattack topspin with LP OX or do I need a minimum of sponge in my LP to make it feasible?

    Хорошо пропиленную подачу по месту они не поднимут , или вернее не смогут активно сыграть да и главное нужно быстрее вставать в стойку после подачи

      This is a complicated question, my friend, since there are many on the market, but I personally find them interesting to attack, the Giant Dragon Meteorite and the TSP Curl P2 with foam between 0.5 and 1.0mm, the Meteorite allows to generate something more of an effect than the P2. Is it reasonable to assume that you would not be able to attack with long pips had it had no sponge or .5 mm? Your counters are quite effective however I also assume the chopping effect is diminished somehow with having sponge on

    • @puntoSpicos
      @puntoSpicos  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hello rakishman1313. In my opinion and from the experience I have had with the different foam thicknesses and without it (0X), I am sure that you can attack with 0.5 or even 0X, but this will increase the difficulty even more and also make you lose power and, effectiveness to attack.
      Regarding the cutting effect, I understand that the foam does not make long peaks lose effect, perhaps the opposite, the more foam, the greater the effect it receives and can generate, although it does lose much of the destabilizing effect of the 0X.

      @@puntoSpicos thanks for the video again I went again and got TSP p1r in 0.6 mm thickness. It has been my first time playing or experimenting with long pips in my life. However, now 2 weeks in I am beating a lot of players at my level and above. I put it on Septear Lead and have Dynarzy AGR on forhand . I believe this is a good combination as the blade is 7ply however the handle is too thin for me so would most likely change my blade. How is the feeling different with the ALL+ and Defensive blade? I am afraid to lose my attacking power on FH thus would like to understand your opinion. MY current blade is OFF-

    just give a long serve with weak underspin. wait for medium speed top spin weak attack and kill it easily. no matter what he does, chop, drop shot or drive, it will always be a weak top spin ball, that cannot be very fast, that you can kill. Don't give high balls, because most LP players can use the other side with regular rubber to kill you when he has time to flip the racket.

      Easy to say, hard to achieve. If it was so simple, we would never see LP players winning games. The strategy and skills of the player also play an important role in the game, it's not just a matter of "do it and then do that".
