    99% agree, except the last comment. Although, to be sure, you qualified it . I love this bike thoroughly, and I’ve been riding for years (far too many to add up). I don’t find it lacking. I own 4 bikes, and I’d say, I spend a majority of time on this bike, for the reasons you mentioned. It’s such a breeze, so enjoyable. Yup, +70 mph/ 120 kmh is compromised, admittedly, but at 70/120 and less, the majority of my riding, it’s a gem. If it were my only bike, I’d choose it over the Shotgun. But that’s the great thing about bikes. The best bike on the road is the one you’re riding. Great channel, great community. Keep it coming!

    Even as a commuter a 350cc bike struggling to reasonably accelerate past 100kph is for myself a deal breaker. Thankyou for another great review. 👍

    Got nearly 7000ks on my Hunter. Great little commuter. I put a set of YSS shocks on the rear. Great improvement. Set of 10% stiffer springs in the forks from Hitchcocks UK improved the front. DNA air filter and intake more midrange power. (Not much). The engine is sweet as butter now. Love it.

    Huge difference in comfort and ridebillity.

      @marinusk67 how do you mean? I have never ridden either but both are very appealing in their own ways. Is the classic more relaxed and the hunter lighter and nimble as I imagine? Thanks

    I think I mentioned I rented a Hunter 350 here in Phuket and rode it 2 up on the mainland for a few days touring. I think 120kmph was the most I got out of it 2 up but at no point was I wanting more power. I got over speed years ago and still have the Fireblade for that if I want.
    But watching your video makes me want to rent that 350 again. I really loved it, and that sound is so nice. Not a raspy shit sound like a harley, but a classy sound.
    The 350 would be me next bike except the pillion seat slopes downward at the rear making it not very comfortable on the back. So it will be a Himalayan (original) for me.
    Great video as always!!

      @@BikesILike I forgot to mention that rental had about 3000kms on it so the engine was well worn in and likely why we got to 120kmph. I think I could have gotten more out of it but the old ball and chain doesnt like speed.

      The part where you mention it slopes down i agree its because of the way the frame is designed would've been better if they kept it flat like a interceptor but yes that wouldve damaged int 650 image

    My GB350 would have similar performance I suppose. Agree 100% with your assessment. Very capable around town, agile, cheap ownership. Even quite comfortable over distance. Just don’t expect to power up long inclines on the freeway.

    I ve got a 1050 cc bike and a 300 cc bike, i honestly have more fun on the smaller bike, a very underestimated bike category.

    • @BikesILike
      @BikesILike  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Totally agree Grantley. Whenever I owned 1000+ cc inline 4's, I felt I was always holding back, whereas the smaller capacity bikes I could really lean into. Definitely more engaging at legal speeds.
