- Back in 2019 I got the chance to hang out with Austin (r beny) after his live performance at the event Velocity the night before. It seemed apt that got the cameras out, had a chat and went through his artistic approach, preparations, patching and had a full rig rundown while we were at it.

For me, that gave great insight into the overall rig flow of my favourite artist. Many thanks to my favourite modsplainer, divkid ftw! For me, r beny was probably the person that inspired me to get into modular. And divkid, omri cohen and others helped me understand it much more easily than I would have, on my own. A couple of years in, and you guys are still my favourites.

Yes, it seems like we’re all to easily slaved to the clock … it’s certainly one way of composing, tho I like the idea of a floating ambience too … not having a rigid tempo but a constantly evolving one is a nice change 🙂

Yeah we thought we could use a space that apparently we couldn't. The guy at the venue was a massive ass and kept been rude about it.
