Good video man. Love the ZR2 content. I have a 2018 ZR2 with 60,000 miles on it and it’s been a great truck
They are honestly my favorite bang for you big buck! You just can’t beat it!
Could you add 1.5” wheel spacers to this setup? I have the1” level on my zr2 and I want to go to the 33’s on stock wheels but I would like to know if it rubs on the wheel spacers.
You should be able to just fine, worst case just a bit of trimming and your good!
You didnt do any trimming to the truck? Stock control arms? Have you experienced any rubbing when offroading?
No rub at all, it hasn’t been beaten up too much off road but so far it done good with no trimming and just the leveling kit.
@@GodspeedZRZ wow okay. Im thinking of running 17x8.5 with a zero offset. But unfortunately I believe trimming is necessary with wider wheels.
@@outlaw8388 I think it would be required but I’m never afraid to trim them out!
Sweet Rocky t-shirt.
I greatly appreciate it, most wouldn’t notice!
What leveling kit did you guys use? Was it the GM performance leveling kit?
I honestly don’t remember, I don’t believe it was the one from GM. Just a basic one online. I’ll get back to you in it. Thanks for watching!
Any rubbing with the 285's?
None at all, clears perfectly!
Nice garage; I’m biased as I have a 2018 Jeep JLU & 2021 Chevy ZR2 as well. 👍🏻🇺🇸 Granted, my Jeep doesn’t have a Hemi; just the humble V6. 😁
Awesome lineup! Most days I miss my 3.6l especially when I’m at the pump 😅
what year is your ZR2
It is a 2018, Godspeed brother!
Do you know if the leveling kit is the OEM or an aftermarket kit?
Aftermarket, it was only about $300. Same material and construction/design👍🏼
The new larger tires are on the stock wheels right? Did you use spacers or is it all OEM? Thanks
Completely OEM spacing, mounted flush with the stock wheels!
What’s your averaged mpg with this new 285’s?? I do a lot of driving and mpg is a big factor for me :/
I believe it’s still around 25 mpg
