Canada has closed it's mines and stopped exporting asbestos. Now biggest exporters are Russia, China, Brazil etc. Where there is a demand, there is a supply. Narcotic drugs are also banned around the world, but the trade is on.

This comparison is not right. Most people who use drugs know that is illegal. But people using asbestos are not aware of its prejudice. They assume it is ok to buy, since it is sold commercially, legally. Drugs will always be traded, but asbestos could be easily stopped.

All mining of Asbestos in Canada stopped as of 2012. Asbestos last used in products in Canada 1990's. Canadian importation and export has stopped as of 2016. Total ban of Asbestos in Canada 2018.

I hope all the third world countries stop using asbestos sheets. As an architect I frequently encounter these sheets at any local material store. Strangely, it's banned at Andaman and Nicobar islands way before I left for that place for higher studies.

These poor folk I worked demolition for a while and every time we would come across asbestos we'd immediately shut down and call in the guys who literally need tickets(formal education) plus a full tyvek suit and gas masks. I worked at the real Canadian superstore and we had a section of the store basically every other one uses for a good life gym / board rooms we used it for storage because the building is old and that section didn't have its asbestos removed. It's amazing how we Canadians won't get anywhere near it, but will mine and sell it.

Yeah but charities are run like a business, where people at the top have a very high salary instead of being run completely by volunteers, most of the money is spent on paying the employees salaries and other expenses. What little is left is for the poor people.
If you want to help don't give them money, it only helps the middle man making fat profits in return for making people think they are making world a better place.
The only real way of helping is to be on the ground, working with the people who need help.
I was an unpaid volunteer for Oxfam raising money when most of the money raised was spent on the employees so I quit.

I feel sorry for you. It's not ok to make you handle asbestos with out correct safety equipment. To have problems with breathing and pain in the lungs is terrible. Even in Denmark were I live , some companies hire young people down to 14-15 years from south of Europe who works with asbestos without any safety equipment because the don't know about the risks. The workers also might expose their families to asbestos fibers from their work cloth. I hope you are doing ok. I wish you the best. Take care my friend. I subscribed to your channel. That's how most Indian men would react to tough situations, we are expected to make decisions at such times and married couples do exchange words. That's what we were before globalization. Now it's OK for a boy to cry, thanks to western culture that's widely been adopted here. But that man won't break, he knows their death is certain and so far he's helpless to provide proper medication to him and to his wife whose well being was once handed to him by her parents and he vowed for it. He could have just left her and had 4days of medicine just for himself, he would have survived maybe. Yet he's here. Khaana pakaana, kapde dhona aata nahi hoga😂

Ok people sarcasm aside, I was happy to see that it wasn't America (for once). But I would recommend watching to induce morbid depression. In the next 10 - 20 years there is going to be such a overwhelming number of deaths and health issues in India and the fibers remain. The parts of or the entire country might become uninhabitable. The polar ice caps melting, I believe I might be the last generation that will have a life into my 60s and I really do not want to get any older or watch things get any worse. I think I need some vicodin or percocets.
