@@hoodeddragons Yes. That's so important with atmos not using all of the speakers. With the 360ssm it will use as many speakers connected, and in any format. If your happy with dtsx you prob are fine. I haven't compared but I need to.

How much base is coming out of them? Getting mid and low end up there is nice.
It’s set to small at 120hz but seems to have a little bass in the mid range, unless it’s just well balanced with the sub
I have the sony 7000 and the 360ssm is so good.
Nice I am interested in the Sony es 5000&7000 but I have too much AVRs. Question does the 360ssm work on Dolby atmos movies discs, thanks in advance.

Thanks for that info and I like both atmos and dts:x because it also depends on the movie sound engineers implementing a good soundtrack mix.
