⁴ᴷ (2), (4), (5), and (6) Trains on the East Side Line

- Here is some footage from this past weekend taken on the East Side Line. With the (6) cut off from Westchester Yard, some R142As from the (4) Line were put into (6) service. Additionally, a (2) train was routed via the East Side due to an incident on the Lenox Avenue Branch.

Fun Fact: You skipped most of the video just to watch the 2 via Lexington.
The R142As look so original and modern on the 6.

61 St to 46 St have the new arrival announcements now-in case you didn’t already know.
LOL if I upload another 7 train video people will throw a tantrum again. The announcements are pretty much all the same anyway but I have a different 7 line video planned so stay tuned.

The 2 was heading to bowling green ?
I'm not exactly sure because the train and clocks said Flatbush and according to the service change info, the work taking place was between Borough Hall and Franklin Avenue. If the G.O. limits didn't impede the train's route onto Eastern Parkway Lcl, it probably could've continued to Brooklyn, but I doubt it actually did.
