In the episode just before what we saw here, Quentin finally realized what Oliver needed to learn and basically gave himself up to die in the loop scenario. Oliver was pouring out BUCKETS 😭😭😭 because he realized it too and it was incredibly sad 😔

At this point, as someone else mentioned, the solo Batfleck movie with Slade as the main villain was still going to be made, and the Slade that showed up in the after credits scene in the Joss Whedon Justice League was very popular with fans, so WB restricted him back to movie only.

I miss Arrow. Finished last season like two months ago. Really kept me occupied throughout covid, and is the first TV show I ever finished. 😔♥
