The fact that this show started when I was in the 8th grade and is concluding this year as I am about to graduate college makes me wonder where the time has gone.
I was in 1st grade when Smallville first hit the scene. By the time I was 18, Smallville came to an end. It’s crazy how shows like Smallville, Arrow, and Supernatural stick with us for that long.

What makes this ending even better is that Oliver finally gets what he wants and what we all wanted for him. An eternity of peace and happiness. No more pain, no more hell, no more loss, and most importantly... An eternity with the love of his life.
In some ways, the ending was a lot like Crisis comics when Superman-2 (Earth 2 - Golden Age) defeated the anti monitor. But Superman-2 and Superboy-Prime couldn't return to earth as the portal created by Alexander Luthor was closed. At the end of issue #12, it was revealed that Lois Lane of Earth-2 had been saved from the reboot of the universe and had stayed in some paradise type dimension. Alexander Luthor offered both Superman-2 and Superboy-Prime to join him this place of "everlasting peace"....unless the next crossover that is! Infinite Crisis LOL. So it's funny, Oliver became the Spectre, fought the Anti-Monitor, rebooted the universe and also lived happily ever after like Superman. Lot of work for a guy who really had no super powers. LOL

This one scene proves that John should be a green lantern. He got hit with a meteor and had the will to walk it off like it was nothing, what a true hero.

What a show and what an ending I don't think I could have asked for much more. Thank You Arrow for everything! Without you we never would have had the Arrow verse and all the other shows that came with it. I'm sad but also glad I got to enjoy the ride
Funny thing is that thanks to Oliver's sacrifice that he made it possible for the monitor to return to fulfill a wish he had for Felicity after her mission was done to set up the new team Green Arrow in the future.
Yay!!!! I'm so proud of the whole cast coming together to give us such a beautiful ending I'm so sad yet happy that the show has ended. It gave us 8 wonderful years with Arrow they could not have chosen a better cast than this! I'll miss you!!😭💚

The ending is not only romantic, but very enigmatic as well because Felicity and Olver finally reconnect after so long at the same office Oliver first spied on Felicity when he was still presumed dead. They finally got their happy ending!!!

I feel like Oliver deserved a happy ending with his kids and his wife alive and well and he can see diggle, team arrow and barry whenever he wants. That’s what makes his death so sad to me he might be with Felicity in the afterlife but the rest of his family which is not just felicity but his kids, diggle, team arrow even earth 2 laurel and especially barry are his family too and they will never see him agains which makes it heartbreaking. I see this ending as bittersweet because at least he’ll be with felicity.

THIS. I may have a love/hate thing for Marc Guggenheim but at least he knows how to give a great ending and knows a thing or two about character development unlike Dumb & Dumber who are eager to rush things for nothing.

Arrow started when I was a little kid in 7th grade and it ended in the same day as my birthday when I turned 21 years old in 2020, its a end of an era for me, my childhood and past is no more and my entire life changed forever. An entire, whole new beginning was born for me because my life as an adult now is a renaissance, a new rebirth and its the first time for everything for me, its a chance to make things right, to be a better person, and its a chance of redemption for me.
I’m glad Oliver and felicity got their happy ever ending .I will truly miss the show wish they have season 9 afterlife of them two I’m crying but at the same time happy ❤️❤️❤️

Uh I think that was more alluding to the magic protection Constantine gave him; Theres no way he could've "tapped" into the power of the spectre because in theory Jim Corrigan was still the host of the spectre.
Man. They really did this show right. I mean, there were some bumpy bits. I'll admit, I was really upset at some of the newer additions to the team at some points, but at the end of the day, nothing takes away from the fact that this is OLIVER's story. He spends ten years of his life going through hell all over the world. First, his dad shoots himself right in front of him. He's marooned on an island and has to go through unspeakable horrors to survive, and even when he leaves that island, it only gets worse. He feels this monster rising inside of him. To fend it off, he becomes someone, someTHING, else. I could detail all the things he went through after he returned home, but we all know. Malcolm. Slade. Ra's. Savage. Darhk. Caden. Prometheus. Diaz. Emiko. They all came after him-- and one by one, no matter who or what they took from him, he never stopped. Starling City, and then Star City, unknowingly sat on the shoulders of one man for over five years. They hunted him, hated him, hurt him... but he only went to prison in the end because it was worth it to HIM, for the people he cared for. He fought off an alien invasion with others who were pretty much all there because of the influence he had. He never meant to, but he inspired a new world. This was how his story was always going to end. No matter how much we all wanted it to never end, it was time to hang up the bow. Let the archer rest. Now he gets to spent the rest of eternity with the woman he loves... huh. Not a bad gig.
Why I fell for is knowing that after how many relationships Oliver had-- Felicity was there to witness every heartbreaks of Oliver she never left him, even if she was left alone after 20 yrs. she waited for that final moment to be with him.
When oliver went to jail, felicity said "I will wait for you". It took almost 1 year, but she was finally reunited. When oliver died, felicity had to wait 20+ years to reunite with oliver. 🥺
This and Supergirl are the best series finales. I love how they brought Oliver and Felicity back to where it began and I had forgotten about the first time he saw Felicity.

I have always wanted Laurel and Oliver end up together but I am happy he got a great ending with Felicity. He deserves to be loved for all of eternity.
@@brooksflick7411 During the funeral they said that there wasn't a body in the grave. They're not dead, they're in another dimension. I know that Felicity called it "afterlife". But she was wrong. I also read an itw of Guggenheim, to many tv medias on line, saying that they wanted Oliver to be Specter (so he can't die, and Felicity's not dead either) so that they can bring them back if they need them, if they agree and their schedule allows them a free time.
My view on Olicity as a couple was a rollercoaster. In season 1 I liked them. In season 2 I loved them. In season 3 I disliked them. In season 4 I hated them. In season 5 I slowly started to like them again. And from season 6 and onwards I was fine with their relationship but for me personally it never reached the highs of season 2 again.

I still think even with some flaws like the overdone Olicity stuff and other crap Arrow was and is still the best out of all Arrowverse shows! They had flaws but bounced back and wrapped it up nicely. I loved Flash but it never recovered from being downhill tbh

To fend it off, he becomes someone, someTHING, else.
I could detail all the things he went through after he returned home, but we all know. Malcolm. Slade. Ra's. Savage. Darhk. Caden. Prometheus. Diaz. Emiko. They all came after him-- and one by one, no matter who or what they took from him, he never stopped. Starling City, and then Star City, unknowingly sat on the shoulders of one man for over five years. They hunted him, hated him, hurt him... but he only went to prison in the end because it was worth it to HIM, for the people he cared for. He fought off an alien invasion with others who were pretty much all there because of the influence he had. He never meant to, but he inspired a new world.
This was how his story was always going to end. No matter how much we all wanted it to never end, it was time to hang up the bow. Let the archer rest. Now he gets to spent the rest of eternity with the woman he loves... huh. Not a bad gig.

Why I fell for is knowing that after how many relationships Oliver had-- Felicity was there to witness every heartbreaks of Oliver she never left him, even if she was left alone after 20 yrs. she waited for that final moment to be with him.

When oliver went to jail, felicity said "I will wait for you". It took almost 1 year, but she was finally reunited. When oliver died, felicity had to wait 20+ years to reunite with oliver. 🥺
God I cannot wait for 'Green Arrow and the Canaries'. That is gonna be so good after this amazing ending. Most likely William as Overwatch.

I loved this ending it made me cry like the Supergirl finale the Cw has a great way of wrapping things up!
This and Supergirl are the best series finales. I love how they brought Oliver and Felicity back to where it began and I had forgotten about the first time he saw Felicity.

I kind of hate that the show ended and Oliver had to die ( it was clear in the crossover Elseworlds)

During the funeral they said that there wasn't a body in the grave. They're not dead, they're in another dimension. I know that Felicity called it "afterlife". But she was wrong.
I also read an itw of Guggenheim, to many tv medias on line, saying that they wanted Oliver to be Specter (so he can't die, and Felicity's not dead either) so that they can bring them back if they need them, if they agree and their schedule allows them a free time.

My view on Olicity as a couple was a rollercoaster.
In season 1 I liked them.
In season 2 I loved them.
In season 3 I disliked them.
In season 4 I hated them.
In season 5 I slowly started to like them again.
And from season 6 and onwards I was fine with their relationship but for me personally it never reached the highs of season 2 again.

I still think even with some flaws like the overdone Olicity stuff and other crap Arrow was and is still the best out of all Arrowverse shows! They had flaws but bounced back and wrapped it up nicely. I loved Flash but it never recovered from being downhill tbh
The box Diggle found was what made him The Green Lantern.
