Very few songs of the kinks....sunny afternoon, Waterloo sunset, delicated follower of fashion, I'm nota like everybody else, where the good Time gone, see my friends
Riders on the Storm, beautiful song from The Doors, is a song from the seventies. Recorded December 1970, the single-version was released in June 1971.
Great list of classic music. I listened to a lot of these songs with my mom when I was younger. She always was playing a cassette, record, or listening to the radio that played 50s-70s songs. I love a lot of this era of music because of her.
❤👍 GREAT VIDEO!BEST DOCUMENTARY ON THE HEART OF THE BRITISH INVASION. I REMEMBER A LOT OF THESE SONGS. I LOVE HIS MUSIC CAN LISTEN TO HIM ALL DAY. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST YEARS OF MEMORIES IN MY LIFE AND THE MUSIC WAS AWESOME. GREETINGS FROM BULGARIA 🇧🇬
Should not have included the Beetles because they alone were so big and had so many hits that they squeezed out a lot of really great 60s songs by lesser artists. Not fair. The Beetles should be in a category of their own.
I got your point But here is a snapshot of those that got to the top at a moment Watch the growing process of music in s wide range of services Dylan Beatles Elvis Sinatra etc
Great compilation Loads of these songs have stood the test of time and sound great today as they did when they were released Some songs I hadn't heard since the sixties. I have to say that group, The Beatles, I think they were called, had a couple of quite nice songs. Don't know what became of them.
My 5 fav songs from the 60s 1: Rolling Stones satisfaction 2: four seasons sherry 3: Beatles come together 4: Manfred Mann do wha Diddy 5: Ben e king stand by me (how was this not in top ten )
Fantastic selection. LOVE IT. And I'll have it on replay over and over again.... Still more songs would've made the list: Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Ruby Tuesday, etc..) Nothing from the Four Tops?
Best 60s list I’ve seen. Love the White rabbit so high up. Just enough of beatles songs. Although the ratio between The beatles and The stones was incling way too much towards the beatles. So I would have added more stones #1 songs like ruby tuesday, get off of my cloud and honky tonk woman
Great, great compilation. It is really hard to spot anything missing. Maybe something of Love band (Alone Again Or), Ottis Redding or Blood Sweat and Tears, perhaps. Anyhow, the compilation was superb. I enjoyed it a lot. Thank you very much!
Nothing from The Who, Hollies or Association, yet we have 'Delilah' and 'Sugar, Sugar'. MIA are three of my faves: 'Nowhere Man' by The Beatles, 'Eight Miles High' by The Byrds and 'Who'll Stop The Rain' by CCR.
Only about 15 of these make my top 120. You know which ones they are. The Kinks are criminally underrepresented. Also, any list with Sugar sugar on it is a ( you fill in the blank) .
“Time of the season” and “Crimson & clover” are two of the most iconic songs of the 60’s and have no business being as low as they are, both are top 10 worthy but that’s just me…..
The Righteous Brothers, Johnny Cash, Louis Armstrong, behind the Archies??? I could not believe a lot of these selections! Elvis' "In The Ghetto" should have been near the top.
Given peoples music perception is subjective I can't fault your choices. But I do have a minor point. For accuracies sake you should have used Roger Miller's version of Me and Bobby McGee since it was the one recorded in the 60's not Joplin's (posthumously released, much better version)
Excellent. But I think 2 were from 1970.but shit we aren't perfect. I kept track of of the top hundreds with cousin brucie and Casey casum since I was young. I am 67 years old. I enjoyed this.
The Beatles could EASILY have the top 20 songs 🤨. Too many of their great songs were left out, imo. Please, Please Me, She Loves You, Anna, IF I Fell, And I Love Her, I'm Happy Just To Dance With You and on and on and on and....
The Beatles
Beatles Forever 🙌
Beatles changed everything for everybody 🇬🇧 ❤
Beatle Beatle Long Life Love Them

Beatles, Rolling Stones, CCR, Doors, Otis Redding, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, King Krimson ♥️ Thank you!
Can’t believe hey Jude was number 1 instead of a day in the life
Agreed. Love both songs, but A Day in the Life is my favorite song by any artist ever!
19 songs by the Beatles. Need we say more? 💕
The Beatles are the greatest!

I Was a kid in the sixties but I remember it very well.
Fabulous, thank you, good time for you.
The Beatles merajainya

It's only a historical task I suppose
The Animals were great. 🇬🇧
#87 Riders on the Storm actually are 1970s, not 60s. But I love to hear it everywhere
Super collection of the songs I like and I prefer and originals!!

Great classics great days 🧑🎄🤶🎅
Thank you so much for putting Hey Jude at number 1. It seems like it doesn’t get the credit it deserves today.
Anos 60 dominado pelo the beatles.

Definitely some great songs here. What happened to the Grassroots though. So many hits in the top 100 but not ONE here.
It's the best music
The Kinks el grupo con mejor legado discográfico con los The Beatles.
Great years 👍🏾
Great decade
best list I've found so far
Love is Blue by Paul Mauriat/1968...
Дасти Спрингфилд+Буффало Спрингфилд=❤️
Did I miss it or did you not include Spinning Wheel. That had to be one of the best 60.s tunes.
Toll, ich kenne sie alle❤️❤️❤️👍
Great list. For you by Triunvirat deserves much more
One mistake: Riders on the Storm is from 1971
so is Me and Bobby McGee
Great, great compilation. It is really hard to spot anything missing. Maybe something of Love band (Alone Again Or), Ottis Redding or Blood Sweat and Tears, perhaps. Anyhow, the compilation was superb. I enjoyed it a lot. Thank you very much!
Way to go just not everybody would put in the Court of the Crimson king 🤴

I was surprised stooges were on this list I like them but I thought they were kind of underground back then
Would have made some changes, the only big one is moving You’ve Lost That Lovin Feelin quite a bit higher but otherwise great list!

@@randommf1763 I remember an old cartoon; record shop with aisles of vinyl. All of it labelled 'Elvis' except a tiny section 'The good stuff'.
No composer
There was no one song that I could not remember

Good list, but missed Sounds of Silence by Simon and Garfunkle.
It's #21
Mr. Tambourine Man and All Along The Watchtower are from Bob Dylan
Where The Easy Beats "Friday on my mind" ?

‘Riders on the Storm’ was released in 1971.
Afro girl trios the most melodic
I think some of these came out in the early 70s, not the 60s like riders on the storm and Waterloo sunset by the kinks NEVER gets it’s fair share
1.Dom wschodzącego słońca 2.San Francisco !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Righteous Brothers, Johnny Cash, Louis Armstrong, behind the Archies??? I could not believe a lot of these selections! Elvis' "In The Ghetto" should have been near the top.
Era pra ser 105 músicas só dos Beatles!!! Kkkkkkkk
Y Ray Davies el mejor compositor de todos los tiempos.
Waterloo sunset?
