Hi TooManyRecords I'm from England and when you visited limited to one in this video at 8:428:44 there's an album on the bottom shelf on the wall and it's the third one along, and it is from a band called Shame and the album is songs of praise I highly recommend picking it up as it is one of the best English rock albums to be realised this year! Hope you will take a look as they are one of the best bands around now and have recently toured the US so would be good if you or anyone in the comments would give it a listen. Cheers.
hey it was great meeting you and hanging and chatting about nerdy shit.!! see you soon. next time someone comes in cause they saw this video say hi!!! - Kristian / Limited to One.
Didn’t know you were on the east coast! If you ever have some extra time on your next trip back to NY, be sure to take a day and visit Long Island. More than glad to show you around some of the best spots to dig!
Hey great video. You were in my old neighborhood in Williamsburg Brooklyn checking out human head records store. But there are other cool spots like rough trade also in Williamsburg Brooklyn. There’s another one called earwax on the same street of N. 9th St. in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Just some local record shops thought you should check out for your next video part two of New York record stores.
Fasciinatiion is such an underrated album (probably the last truly good LP by The Faint), especially for $2! Also, Limited to One seems like such a cool spot!!
On my second viewing I caught Even Worse and Sheik Yerbuti in Record Grouch. Nice. Next time you're in Jersey you might want to go out of your way a bit and check out Spin Me Round Records in Phillipsburg Mall. The lady that runs the place really knows her stuff.
Hi, greetings from Argentina. I know this is a rather old video but I wanted to thank you for it (and for another one you´d made before highlighting somoe other record stores in NYC). I was lucky enough to visit New York in December 2019 and your insights were so, so important. Thanks to your advice I visited A1, Academy, The Turntable Lab and Limited to One (Kristian is such a nice guy, we are still in touch). So, after following your track and heading to Rough Trade (when it was still open in Brooklyn), Earwax Records (the owner was not very nice, but I got a few good things there), Blue Sun Records (another nice guy that helped me to get a few nice early Chigago House compilations) and Human Head. I can say it was because of you that I came back home with over 15 kilos of amazing records. It´s been a while, but I just wanted to thank you. Ps.: Excuse my poor English.
@@TooManyRecords thanks, man. Even from the other side of the world you made a link among vinyl lovers. Then I linked Kristian with other TH-camrs from the East Village and now they became friends too...amazing.
Nice finds. Love the *Anamanaguchi* album _'Endless Fantasy'_ I really wish they would release their last album on Vinyl 'Capsule Silence XXIV' I have the cassette, but it's only a selection of tracks from the game. Can't wait to see what they do next.
Nice looking grabs. I don't know any of these besides the rap ones but i'll check some of the interesting and old looking ones out. Maybe they have dope samples on them. You never know. I don't understand why a lot of record stores put price tags directly on the LP jacket though. As a collector, things like that trigger me so much.
@@TooManyRecords For sure. I had two instances where i ripped off a tiny part of the cover while attempting to remove the price stickers. It was infuriating.
Sometimes I wonder if the folks at A1 just leave stuff in weird places to reward people willing to put in the work. Feel like I always get a steal there. Which is helpful, because I'm usually broke after visiting Limited to One.
If I like this album I'll definitely be diving in.

I love Freddie Gibbs and grew up on that project. was also psyched to find the picture disc last year for a low price, but had to sell it back because the pressing was so awful. What did you think of it?
awesome video as usual, have a question maybe someone here can help... I am kind of new to vinyl, and happened to have an old friend and who basically gave me some PF vinyls from from 80's .. they are OLD (maybe 70's), I want to know the value of those... thanks
I didn't know there was a Record Store in Hoboken. Thanks for sharing. Hope you enjoyed your vacation.
It's a great store.

Great video. Limited to One is my favorite record store. Kristian is super awesome. He also has a Discogs storefront @thepunkguy.
Long live Novos Baianos! Salute from Brazil!
Great overview. Now I know where to go when I finally get back to NYC!
So many good stores... be prepared.
I was at limited to one this past September while visiting NYC. Great store!

I love Manuel Gottsching. He was in Ash Ra Temple. I recommend checking them out
If you ever come to st Louis you should check out vintage vinyl and the record exchange. Both stores are huge and one could spend hours crate digging.
NOTED.
Dude you went to all the shops me and buddy hit often. You had good taste.
Want videos like this, super awesome
Your wish is my command.
Love this new approach! More videos like this!
Cross your fingers for me. Working on something that might allow me to do a lot more videos like this.

I’d go crazy if I saw that In Rainbows boxset for $50! That’s unreal. It’s my absolute favorite album and the first record I bought.
Do you have the discbox? Sounds so good.
Secret Samadhi is awesome!!!

How did you not go to Generation Records?? That store has been around for 25+ years and it's amazing.
Love these record store videos keep up the good work!
LOTS more to come this year.
Love this style of video! Awesome.
More to come.

At 37 seconds: Stereolab, Switched On Volume 1 & 2 ( Refried Ectoplasm), spotted, in the corner!
