I was rockin them all and went from beginner to advanced in a year with your subscription....then came the app and the bottom fell out of my weekly practices...all the content I LOVED was gone...no more variations (maybe one...) and no more full length classes....then one day I thought, maybe there is so old content on her TH-cam channel and I found this! OH YEAH! And lots more...I'm back and will be better than ever using your old TH-cam content rather than the new shiny app....just so you are aware. I LOVE YOUR TEACHING! AND YOU BROUGHT THIS ADULT LEARNER SO SO FAR.... I just miss all the old content you used to have! Thank you for not taking these old tutorials down, they will be my lifeblood for getting my dancing body back on and my skills back up to AWESOME!!! Thank you for it all!
As a beginner this was so fun to try and follow along to! It’s interesting because I started to do a lot of advanced type barres and I thought I was good at them. But after going back to the basics and going super slow for a while I realized when I did the advanced stuff I could do it, but my technique and turnout suffered. It really opened my eyes to the importance of staying with the basics and moving up slowly to maintain proper technique without cheating. This might be obvious information, but it seems forgotten sometimes the importance of going very slowly and working through perfect technique without any cheats. I can’t wait until the day I can do this with proper technique and speed😊. Until then I will stick with my level of training🤪

My goals for this year are to get my arabesque above 90°, to strengthen my knees, quads and inner thighs for better jumps and pointe work, to increase back flexibility and core strength even further, to achieve better expression with y arms and head, and to keep dancing as much as I can!!
Thank you for class! Your excercises feel like home. I'm watching this late, but my biggest ballet goal for 2019 is to recover some (really any) of my lost strength and technique.
Yes more barres, please! It's hard to find true ballet barres on YT - it's mostly fitness barres. I'm still a beginner, so all level barres would be appreciated. ☺

There is ongoing controversy in certain aspects of ballet technique - this is normal and has always been. So this is not criticism, but is is my opinion: I prefer my students never fish the foot in frappe - as later that foot will be landing a jump, and I prefer my jumps landing on a foot which is not fished. However, that being said, if a particular student is prone to sickling, which is deadly when landing jumps - asking the student to fish often brings them to a safe neutral much quicker than asking them to be neutral.
I really want to be advanced and go on pointe , but I hear that it's really hard if your flat footed!I'm really sad now and I don't know if I should do pointe😢😥
