well Gojira is just one of the best metal bands of the last 20 years ..they started in 96 as a more Death Metal Band ,meaning their early albums are even heavier ( "the heaviest matter of the universe "is the perfect demonstration of that ) but still with their identity and as they got older through the years they pushed more and more that atmospheric feel and got softer but still amazing , they are amazing live ..they sound even better live .one of the best live metal band ever , they care a lot about the environmenent and their lyrics always have a deep meaning not to mention Mario Duplantier the drummer is regarded as one of the best metal drummer of the world so yeah you might like it . Some songs from 1996 to now

I was not the biggest of Gojira fans until I checked out their concert at Pol'and Rock 2018.. just blown away by the gig, the energy and the performance in general.. i can compare it with Nightwishs Wacken 2013. Yeah Gojira is that good.
Do you knoe they are actually french?
And I d like to recommend you another great French band with a lady on Vocals: Akiavel and their song The Witness,,, i guess this could be down your alley. bte no problem with your mic

Gojira is sooooooo underrated! You really need to listen to all their albums. First, listen to Magma. So many bangers on that album.

4th album: The way of all flesh
    - Toxic Garbage Island
    - The art of dying (legendary track)

    - Explosia
    6th album: Magma

Nice stink-face! Gojira continue to ascend as one of the really great metal bands. Do more; Whales, Art of Dying... and for a real treat Pray (live at Red Rocks). They're as good/BETTER live, so lean towards that. I'll sub now, and look forward to more!

If you like Gojira, check out Orbit Culture. One of the upcoming metal acts that have been influenced by Gojira and many more into a hybrid that is their own thing. I have been opsessed by them for months. Check out 'saw', 'north star of nija' or 'the shadowing'

Could you please react to Fear Factory: zero signal!
It is the song that made me a metal head.
React to it whenever you can… I know you got tons of reaction request.

I caught myself wondering why I still didn't like GOJIRA, although I like both the tone and sound of their instruments. Vocals! This vocals are not mine.

Tauri I love your reactions to different types of music and I like some rock bands acdc queen and others but nothing as heavy as this I have an eclectic taste in music but purely my opinion and only mine I'm afraid I found this appalling I could not understand a word they was singing I didn't find it nice.
I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of flack over my comments but it is purely my opinion.

    • @TauriReacts
      @TauriReacts  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

And that's completely okay, we are all different and we all like different things. I may not like a band you think are incredible. That's just how life is. 😊

No flack Jimbo! I’m a huge Gojira fan and still don’t understand some of their vocals :)... I have to look them up quite often. But! Once you do, you realize the sheer depth, intensity, intelligence, and especially passion in the lyrics. I’ve never been a fan of harsh vocals.. Gojira converted me, because of that passion. Jinjer put the nail in the coffin. The CONTENT is everything.
One trick (musically) is to intentionally subvert your normal expectations, and think of the vocals as just another instrument, another layer of expression. In this song, the vocals are somewhat buried/subordinate to the other instruments. Gojira owns their own studio and has full control of their content... so this is intentional.
