To be fair to the Jays, the yankees didn't look like they were one player away from a WS last off-season. A good portion of this team has made consistent playoff runs recently, so with the right additions , it's very believable that we can contend again, isn't it? Especially since we are going to compete for Wild Card spots with 2024 over achievers. The AL isn't very strong and we can't deny the severe under performance of key players and former all stars. (almost to a comical extent) Personally, I think the wind was knocked out of the whole org after Ohtani. The smart move to wait for Soto and this FA class was unpopular, but I think everyone understands that it was the right move to position themselves into a legit shot to make a difference. Hopefully there's a roster full of rebound to help any additions.
free agency is baseball is such a slow process, they gotta change it to be like basketball, have a set time when teams can negotiate and then have the big date when most players will sign, in basketball it's like the first week of july all the excitement of free agency. if some players don't sign then more drama through the summer.
Baseball is this way because of the size of the contracts. Bigger numbers always take more time to crunch out, especially when it comes to big business
BJ’s should be looking 👀 first, for another front office team!!!
I really like the way you handle these interviews Scott. Great job again

If they get two good bats and a bunch of good relievers I could believe it otherwise no
