This reminds me of a much more minimalistic setllers 2. Much more granular, but the grid system and the transportation method and the feeding of workers is very much like settlers 2.
I'm enjoying this game demo and I've got it wishlisted. I saw an update that it's due out in Q3 of 2024. I don't have the stamina yet to play long enough to get 600 settlers, so I'm looking forward to watching this video again to see what you do. Have you noticed that building warehouses really impacts satisfying settler requests? I also don't get how it decides where resources come from. I build wells and apple farms in multiple places and it seems like it follows the longest path to satisfy a request. I look forward to the finished product later this year. I love games like this!
The roads work like The Colonists! Hopefully it doesn't suffer from the problems that method had in TC. Could quickly get bottlenecked in that game. This looks fun, tho.
@@skyesfury8511 Ah I see, i looked it up, and that one was inspired by settlers, name included, so of course it has similar road mechanics too. I'm pretty sure both "Colonists" and "mini-settlers" are both inspired in the original old Settlers!

colonists? I think Settlers is the one you mean? (maybe some translation thing, or is it another game?)
@@Jonjon13Jonjon13 No, I meant exactly the game I named. The Colonists. It's on Steam.

@@Jonjon13Jonjon13 Yes, The Colonists was very Settlers inspired, but with robots.
the road issue in colonis is the biggest turn down for me.
Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching!
The way you built the roads gave me an aneurysm
Make a video showing how you'd do it?
Funnily enough, after I played the video they patched the game to allow shorter roads, which would have made my life a lot easier!
Mini series please?
Is the game just build, or is there any challenges I mean requirements with time like realistic or its only just build?

I don't mean it in a bad way but the logistic system is totally copied from "Settlers 2" (wich was a good game)
Old stylish, but very rude dup of dos game Settlers.
