and by that it means almost 10Billion in USD and paid 1B USD to Scooter bRaun (label of Justin B, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato) . Hes now the chairman of HYBE Group of Companies that started as unknown & ridiculed bankrupt company that BTS helped build its way from the ground up from Blood, Sweat & Tears. Just so u know Suga has still his shoulder injury when he did this that he endured for almost 10 years while performing intensely live and producing at the same time. He only got surgery last yr. When he said the rags to riches type of story it doesnt mean the typical shit that u should be from slums literally, it means they had to literally scoop out the water from their rented practice room studio coz it was in the basement and its flooding. When they said its blood, sweat & tears, they meant it figuratively and literally, coz they get physical injuries, stitches, cut off from live broadcasts in Korea bcoz they are from a very small never heard company, ridiculed from wearing clothes that arent fancy since they would only make it themselves (print it themselves). Suga has to work secretly during trainee years to support his studies & didnt tell the company that he got hit by a car and endured it for almost 10 years. He doesnt exaggerate it when he said how much he worked hard for everything he has now. He worked for every dime of his multi million net worth in USD and his company in Multi Billion USD. My advice is keep being open minded specially that u dont know anything yet about their whole history and Suga is the member who will tell u blow by blow, on what pains, struggles, mentally, financially, the Korean And Western media does to them on a regular basis. He isnt the kind to sugarcoat or please anybody even each of u. When he says he gets ripped off from people he sold his music to (hes a producer even before he joined BTS). And when he said he needs to choose between eating blackbean noodles over riding a bus coz if he eats, hell have to walk home. Unsolicted advice again, not everything in the world is literal, there are always a big and deeper meaning to things. U dont have to be from the slums to say that u werent super poor specially when mentally u have to struggle because everything and everyone is against u. Think beyond the box just like BTS and like every ARMY if u could so u could learn outside ur American Bubble. and Krusty i dunno ur name but i like ur reaction now. By the way bts doesn't use green screen all the set was true the staff is really good at editing so that the transition makes the entire set looks unreal credit to them
it wasn’t played for royalty persay. it’s military music and was played for the guard changing ceremonies at the palace, military marches/festivals/, and when the military gates opened or closed. again took place at the palace where royalty stayed. hence only military bands can perform it and when other head foreigners visit, they perform daechwita as welcome.

Suga is lyrical genius that's why he is the first member of bts to become a full-time member of Komca which only takes 25 persons per year. Funny how you all limit his talents to tongue technology, because suga is the best idol producer and one of the most versatile rappers of 3rd generation. (even other fandom agrees)
SUGA's wordplay and his references to Korean culture in this song is insane. A lot of times his lyrics literally can't be translated the way they should be and only Koreans understand the amount of poetry in his lyrics. Non-Korean speakers miss out a lot in SUGA's lyricism, probably that's why a lot of i-army sleep on his songwriting skills

We can see that Yoongi has a deep scar around the eye, the interesting thing about all this is that in South Korea a king cannot have any marks on his skin since otherwise he would not be considered fit to occupy the throne. However, the fact that Suga proudly shows the scar on his face is proof of his strength, that despite being hurt inside he was able to demonstrate that he is capable of achieving his dreams and greater ambitions.
The king witnesses how the humble boy challenges him on several occasions and decides to use his power to order that his head be cut off, just as other members of the town have had the same fate. When you listen to the Cypher series it showcases all 3 rappers and their talents. Honestly comparing each is like apples and oranges. In these songs you can hear how quickly they can rap 😎 and the message they are trying to get across to their haters.
Daechwita is something really important to consider from him. Not only is he calling out the people who looked down on him and his members, he’s also listing all of the things those people have done and yet haven’t come close to his success. Since haters list things they haven’t gotten or didn’t have, about halfway through the end he talks about how he’s got everything he asked for and it’s a reality check but what comes next?
The "royal" is his Ego. A man who steps on the backs of others and takes heads to get what he wants. So after searching the world and himself, he comes back to kill his Ego.

He said he is working on acoustic songs these days. He is not afraid to try new things, like singing or guitar and he is thinking to learn how to play drums as well. The amount of love he has for music is on another level. He even has a song, which is dedicated to music and it is called "First love"

My bias line is SUGA, JK and V but I am OT7 (No Bias Wreckers) because I have over 100+ biases throughout the kpop industry.

Just wanted to point out that the scar thing isn't supported by historical evidence but was just part of kdrama (Scarlet Heart Ryeo made it a popular kdrama trope, but the drama is from the historical fiction, Bu Bu Jing Xin, based on _Chinese_ history, while SHR has only loose connections with Korean history).

Edit: my bad, his ancestors ruled a kingdom in Korea and the min clan was influential so anyone with the surname min has a bit of royal blood.

personally, i love the entire rapline, but j-hope is my fave. he's the most hype n has an overall laidback vibe abt him. plus his flow is so crazy. i think ppl tend to like suga the most out of the rapline (they're ALL loved VERY much ofc) bc of his advanced rapping skills.. he raps insanely fast n is known to spit fire lol. he goes very hard.

BTS went through a lot of shit coming up from other labels to fans from other labels groups to media listening to the BS. The guys took it all, despite how much it hurt, trained and worked hard. He has 'royal blood', but this fact is a bit blown out of proportion. There are thousands of people a part of the Yeoheung Min Clan, most of Korean people with the last name Min is from that clan and 'royal'.

The opening scene is a court yard filled with headless bodies. The King is taking heads. There is a whole story line about new vs. old. The BTS rappers have such amazing skills. They have abilities to switch up flows. They can change their cadence in a breath. You don't hear many American rappers have the skills to do that. BTS can be crisp & change to grimy. There are no weak verses or mumble rap coming from these dudes. They are not lazy with their lyrics. Because they have so much respect for the artform. Back in 2014, They came to the U.S. and studied with some of the O. G's of the American rap world they. BTS studied the beginnings & history of rap. They made sure they understood the beginnings. Also, Making sure they would be honoring DJ Herc and those whose paved the way and show reverence for the founders Rap/Hip Hop. Last thing you should know, is even though their is a Rap line, all 7 members have the ability to rap. I can't wait until you witness a live concert. BTS leave every ounce of blood sweat and tears on the stage.

What it exactly means is that he's a descendant of aristocrats.Back then all aristocrats in Korea were related to the royal family and hence by relation could be referred to as royalty. Neither his grandmother nor anybody in his family was in direct line to the throne.

Suga has said that this song is a trap for haters. Dkdktv has an explanation video of this song as it explains some of the cultural references in the video. Min Yoon-gi is his birth name, Suga is his stage name with BTS, Agust D is his stage name for his solo projects, which all the members do while they are still active in BTS. They debuted in 2013 in South Korea as a Hip Hop Idol group (under the K Pop umbrella). They fuse and cross genre's, and their sound has evolved over the years, but their hip hop roots are still being expressed. Bang PD is their Boss, and he put together the group. Suga aka Agust D is a self proclaimed bad boy.
