    My favorite jacket. Its pity that those are almost sold out in Slovakia. This Vz. 97 "Kongo" jacket is based on US M65 with few things similar (hood in colar, velcro hand shields) and some different (such as buttons on front which covers zipper). I am looking for big size. If you can tell me where you ordered it IT would be awesome. Currently I am using similar Czech parka Vz. 95. I can reccomend that as well. There are however major differences. Czech have in my opinion better hood, Slovak is in my opinion better in cold weather even without liner ( more material on back)... Thanks for video. Sorry for my English. All the best from East 🤣

      I really like these better than our M-65. I ordered 2 of them for the great price I got them. I believe I ordered them from Coleman's military surplus. Thanks for stopping by, and your english was great😎

    In Slovakia we call this "kongo vz 97" .

    I am currently waiting for mine from Coleman's surplus. I saw one there for 34 bucks plus shipping. And XXXL. TRIPLE X. Well see. I got a 2x Czech jacket maybe a year ago and it fits great. But I like these jackets loose so I can layer. These field jackets are great. A liner makes all the difference in the world and the zippered neck hoody is a great classic design.

    You can use liner from older czecho-slovak parkas. Liner from vz.60 or vz.85 will work. That being said liner from vz.97 is thicker.

      Thanks for watching. It looks like the same pattern, and color, but the green looks a little lighter in color.

    The pattern looks good. More attention grabbing than the white shoes was movement. It will bring unwanted attention very often.
    A deer's ears moving can sometimes be what gives them away.
    I liked your video.
    You are branching out, you are more comfortable in what you are doing.

      Yes I agree, the camo test was kind of a spur of the moment thing. I guess just looking at the parka itself in the woods was what I was thinking. It was fun. Thanks for watching, and I appreciate the comments:).

    Ou and tag you have on the jacket means 2 (height from 1to 6) and 50 (half of chest circumference) so that means its for 172 centimeters tall man ( approx 5 foot 6 inch) and 100 centimeters in chest (approx 39 inch) 😊

    Slovakian camo is not the same pattern as US Woodland camo! Slovakian camo uses smaller Patches and lighter Colours than US Woodland!

      You are correct, but it is similar in it's ways. Thanks for watching, and commenting

    What’s cool cause is both Czech Republic and Slovakia use camos based of Americas designs but different. VZ.97 straight up looks like M81 and the Czech VZ.95 which I have a parka of it’s super sweet , definitely recommend picking up one if given the chance it’s based of the American ERDL Woodland which as you know it’s basically the father of the M81 . Both such sick camos

      @@scottysurvival Hi, only thing they just have no size numbers...i search the whole internet but still no Answear..im 190cm tall 200 pounds what you think would fit ?

      @scottysurvival  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@danilos767 im 182cm tall. So probably you would need a xxxl. Thats my best guess. Unless you don't put a liner in it a xxl might work. I hope that helped
