Every Friday I wait like everyone else for the next kit... and generally go to bed not knowing what the project is... and Sat morning, when everyone is still sleeping... I sneak around the house getting my morning toast, then I turn on the computer and visit with Mary & Leo.... Love this kit!

I'll be making the Urn today and starting on the roses. I love that you created the holes to insert a dowel - this makes it so sturdy. Your kits are the best!
I watch your video tutorials before opening up my files, just so I know what I'm looking at. You do such a great job explaining the supplies you use (I've got 3/16" dowels already, yay!). And Mary, your mom rocks! Do you think she had any idea what she started?
I am in the process of making 14 pails with roses to accompany them. Center pieces for my mothers 90th birthday. I wish their were suggestions of paper weights.
Being a plastic modelmaker, sometimes we have to "weights" to make a airplane model sit flush on its landing gear (usually have to add weight to the nose). Being a guy, we typically have some nuts and bolts left around. With the models, spaces is usually a limitation. But with nuts, I can find ones that will fit, and, if I have to, to increase weight, I can crazy glue a few of them together. Some modellers will use lead or lead shot, but lead is hazardous.
I love that I can come and watch just as portion of what I am working on when I need some help.

LOVE the roses and the flower pot :) I just love how you decorate so simply but it adds so much to the projects.
