I just bought the HREFEU brand version of this , it has a middle mesh zipper, other wise the same for bout $60, poles, another $15. Looks like mine fits a little more snug but still has some loose sides. I love it.

Seems like the tent poles should come with it. Neat share though, thanks!

Most of these type of tents are priced very affordable . I bought one a little different from yours . mine has a flap that goes over
the whole top of the car . But my question is does it really keep the mosquitos out ? I just bought the 2024 outback and it has
been so hot here in Texas I'm just now looking at going camping . Great video you have a blessed one .

Nice setup. Just missing the window tent.

What do you do to prevent battery depletion when the rear gate is open? Do the dash warning lights stay on when the “hatch” is open?

I do the “carabiner trick”. I put a cheap carabiner that’s similar size to what the back latch hooks to when closed.

Hey thanks for the reply. Did you buy one of those ones from Etsy or just use one that fits? Do the dash lights eventually go off?

I just found a cheap carabiner on Amazon

It looks to me like there's a loop on the bottom of the tent near the origin of the strap. Is it possible to lengthen that strap enough to bring the carabiner thru the tire spoke and all the way back to the loop? I guess I would be concerned about scratching the paint off the spoke.

It’s not long enough to go through and back. But I’m not a fan of the carabiner against the wheels either, so you could use some fabric underneath the carabiner or rope to extend or tie it.

@@WildernessOffroad That's good information to know. Thanks for the reply.
