After losing my husband of 48 years last year, I never really want to go anywhere but when I get off my backside and mingle, even a quick trip round M&S and a cheery “hello” to a neighbour, I feel so much better. ❤
Good girl, that's the way to do it. I am so sorry for your loss, I can only imagine how tough that must be talking as someone who still cries about losing her dog - of only 17 years!!! Take good care and get out, get out, get out!!!!! Big love. Suzi x

I kept these prescribed directions in mind and each day gradual changes happened.I, struggling at the moment, but finding comments and direction from you tube and commenters is motivating. Thank you.
Hi from W Sussex! I’m going to be 73 in a minute and lost my lovely dog 9 months ago. Since then my sofa has become my best friend 😔. Never were truer words spoken! Thanks for the gentle kick up the bottom! ❤xx
Have only just found you online, cr u going to get another dog? Don't know if you are much younger than me, I am 71, and rescuing another dog is such a positive mood booster..for him and me. Love the channel Regards Helen
Hello from Florida! I follow Jo Good and saw you two together and now here we are! It’s lovely to meet you. I especially enjoyed viewing your walks on the pebbly beaches where you live. Absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Your advice on getting out, walking and exercising and being amongst people is spot on! I’ve found that many people in their 60’s are lonely and once you strike up a conversation, with a smile, they reciprocate. Have a beautiful day and looking forward to your next vlog.
Well what a breath of fresh air you are. 🌞 I clicked on your video because of the title as I've had a blue weekend and did just what I shouldn't after a demanding and stressful week - cancelled activities and stayed inside all weekend. I live a solo life down in the South of France and have recently joined the senior sisters with a TH-cam channel about life over sixty here. Two weeks ago I felt fabulous then got a spanner in the works...... but you're chat about getting out is what I needed to hear. Merci 🙏
Thx for the encouraging words. I often feel lonely and it drags me down so that I can't be bothered to do anything much... which then makes me feel worse... a vicious circle. Good to be reminded that I am not alone in feeling this way.
My cousin has a great saying, “I am grateful for what I have, and what I don't have” Aging is challenging, and I agree with you, keep moving if you are able, engage with people and get outside in the fresh air.
I NEVER feel like leaving the house. But I ALWAYS feel the benefit. And you are SO right - we don't need money, or even much time, to do something positive and productive, including engaging with passers-by who may ALSO be feeling low and lonely. So grateful you are here, being our unofficial life coach, reminding us of what can help ❤ I started litterpicking with a local group about a year ago, then I bought my own litterpicker, and now I go out by myself 2 or 3 times a week, helping to keep my local area tidy. It's just about the most uplifting thing I do, and great exercise too (walking, stretching, bending, lifting!).
How funny you should say that, I started my day off this morning helping clean our local beach! it is so uplifting you are so right. I am exhausted now! And thank you for the lovely comment., Suzi x
This too... as they say. I'm so sorry that you're struggling at the moment. That's rotten, of course, but you have been through a lot of very high stress stuff in a short time. I trust in your ability to recover your usual buoyancy in time. Re cutting your hair short: Don't do it! I look best with my hair up with bits down, or with a precisely cut shag. I can't afford the frequent upkeep of a precisely cut shag, but I keep forgetting that and cutting my hair short... and then having to grow it out again! It's easier to put it up than it is to grow it out! And, when we cut our hair during a time when we aren't particularly happy... well, it can add to the general air of disaster ;0). Anyway, love you! Carry on, fabulous woman❤ Carry on!
PS: I have ME and I can't get out. It's a challenge because I am, by nature, a people-loving extrovert. I'm pretty much housebound, and the view from my window is the bricks of the building next door. It's a challenge. I've had it for decades, but was able to work, travel and get about until I was in my 50s, and now I'm 72 and stuck inside. But, as your friend said, I haven't got bombs raining down on me! My work, when I was able, was documenting poverty around the world. I know how lucky I am. That really helps. I'm so excited about your flat!!! :0)
@@IvyRoad I hope you can get friends to visit more. It is so important. Maybe you could join a club on-line and get to meet more people in your area who will then visit? Suzi x
@@AlternativeAgeing Thanks, Suzi :0) Friends are quite willing to visit, but I simply do not have the necessary energy to entertain, or to get myself and my home presentable for guests - it's all barely presentable to me and that takes my all. I do have a very engaged life online with lots of friends, and I maintain an art practice, slowly in tiny increments, but always moving forward. Also, and bizarrely, I remain very interested in style and am generally the best dressed person in the MRI waiting room :0) Finally, I'm an optimist, so I continue to believe, much of the time, that I am one tweak away from recovery. It can pay to be delusional ;0)
Hi Suzi! Yes, wise words. When we live alone, we have to get out of the house and see people. I’m trying to keep up my healthy diet and lifestyle, having been recently diagnosed with leukemia. It appears to be serving me well, as I don’t have any of the nasty side effects i’ve Heard about. Fingers crossed that you can move soon!
You're so right about binge watching, it fills time but can be so depressing! Getting out for a long walk everyday is a life saver for me and my anxiety becomes more manageable when I get home. So sorry you're feeling up and down but you are going through a few challenges at the moment. It is really tough being on your own and only those that do really know what that vulnerable feeling is really like. Loving your vlog and thank you again for being so honest, it helps us all
“Every day we wake up breathing is a bonus”… I was told this by a gentleman who had suffered a massive heart attack..it changed his outlook on life and mine to. As you said none of us know how long we have. I’m still in moving limbo..been this way since March..stressful….cut you hair..it grows quickly if you don’t like it. Much love ❤️
Being happy single ( mother and grandmother) since 2005, having two lovely little dogs. The dogs give structure to my life and i walk several times a day. LOVe your mohair plaid coat.
@@AlternativeAgeing My old dog Pippins ( male fox terrier - had him from pup) died this year age 14. Now i bought a brown wire-haired Dachshund pup midi size on 2 sept. It is only joy ! I recommend small female dogs: Less food, less poop. Easy to handle. Not pissing everywhere. Even allowed in an airplane. Called her Dulce and sweet she is. I have an other dog called Nola. She is a Dachshund x Havanezer. She is age 7 and have her since dec. 2016. Havanezer do smell real good like hay!! So does Nola. No hair loss either!
Suzie I watched an interview with Tom Hanks and his words on life stuck with me he said he remembers the phase “This to will pass” when life is tough and you’re feeling down and it’s true ,lovely video again .
I would think twice about cutting it short. I am 70 and my hair was almost to my waist but because of fibromyalgia I couldn’t put combs in or dry it as it hurt my arms so it is now cropped short, but with longer hair you can choose to have it long or change to short by putting it up, I would leave it personally if you can cope with it!
Hello dear Suzi!! I know you are dealing with a lot- what with your move and all, but I wanted to say thanks for posting this video!! For the past few years, I’ve been trying to not let myself become paralyzed from anxiety!! I got let go from my job of twenty years during the pandemic and I’m still struggling to find my footing!! Your advice of not letting yourself wallow in your misery is helping me tremendously!! I’m trying not to be sedentary and get out more- even when I don’t feel like it!! It does help!! I hope you get things sorted with your move soon!! Thanks for another great video!! Look forward to seeing more from you soon!! Blessed to you, dear Suzi- from across the pond!!🙏🙏🙏😍😍😍
I hear you and am so sorry you have been through this horrid patch but I promise you that my mantra for each day is really working: get out, get out, get out!!!! I didn't feel like it this morning but came back happy and awake, before my morning coffee. Can't wait to be doing it in my new flat in the communal garden! So happy to help and keep us posted. Big love, Suiz x
The unloading helped me. I know how fortunate we are but… mood (hormones/brainwaves/temporary life challenges) and on your own. I also moved (countries) which talk about anxiety and the age doesn’t help - we don’t handle anxiety and stress the same. Generally I’m like you but there are days … Def getting out, exercise and interacting with people (and dogs!) is positive. Thanks for your lovely channel. Love it
I believe many of us ageing folk are in the same position... life is good in many ways and we are totally grateful but there are times where we feel perhaps a spot lonely, invisible, no get up and go and wonder if we've missed something in life that others seem to have but we don't. Maybe I'm just a twit. Thank you for the video.
You are so right. I hadn’t left my home for 5 days and I was very down. It’s been rain storming for 3 days. Today I go to my ceramics class if the storm passes. If not then I will go out tomorrow. THANK YOU
Ruth, if it’s raining and you have the right clothes on, I think it’s quite envigorating. Take a few good breaths. Wearing glasses as I do, can be a pain, so I wear a visor. If it’s windy I wear a wooly hat to keep the visor from blowing off. What a vision! Coming in to the warm/dry after being frazzled in the weather brings a certain peace and soothing. As long as you have somewhere to put your wet gear. Keep moving on❤
Another great Vlog Suzi. I LOVE both tops you bought in Lisbon. If you aren’t happy with your hair, have it cut shorter. New apartment, new hair !!! So pleased everything moving ahead with your new home and you will be moving soon 🤞 very exciting!! And no you don’t look 10 years older, you may feel it with all the stress of the move but you definitely don’t look it !! Take care lovely and have a great week xxx❤️😘
I really think a much shorter Bob would suit you. Just level with your jawline. That would really suit you. If you do cut it really short please leave the fringe as it really suits yr face shape and is very flattering. Congratulations on yr new flat and really look forward to following yr progress. You are very inspiring and entertaining and genuine and I love your vlogs. Keep going and wishing you an interesting and exiting time ahead. 🌈
You're so lucky, you have thick hair. I'm 67 and my hair has thinned a bit. Love your new blue and red sweater. Very nice! Good luck with your move. It's horrible that they leave you hanging like that! Very stressful!
I love your hair and your style I also think your bloody fab ,iam 63 now and just this year have had a lot of health problems out of the blue which has really had me down in the dumps ..I’ve had to give myself a little kick to get myself out if only for abit each day when possible to keep me sane xx take care sending hugs
I am so sorry you've been through the mill but so happy to hear you have given yourself some challenges to feel better. And thank you for your lovely comment. Stay happy and live each day. Big love, Suzi x
Hi Suzi I saw your short with the news and so pleased you have a date and it’s not to far away. Wishing you so much happiness ahead I really admire you we have very similar taste and views I wish I was as confident have a fab week and see you Sunday 🥰
Loved your video, loved your new , bright color top, and loved your red lips! I think you would look amazing with short hair! You pull it back most of the time anyways! I remember a pic of you with short hair decades ago! Hair grows! Fresh style cures the doldrums! 😘
Thanks for sharing Suzi, good advice. I need to get out more too. I volunteer at a local charity which is a great thing to do, but I think taking more walks out in the sunshine is also going to be of great benefit.
I love your energy and enthusiasm. It is hard to walk without our furry friends. Maybe we should just imagine that they are right there with us, trotting alongside, because they probably are. I just felt safer with a furry friend with me. I will get another. We have moved to a different state and I feel safer here. I will get a furry friend when we have finished working on the house and yard because a fenced area for the fur baby would be best. Moving is stressful. Day by day. Don't worry about wearing the 'stripy' top twice. Live frugally and be happy.
Hi Suzi I so love that blue blouse from Lisbon the striped top looks amazing. Don’t be too hasty with your hair you’ve so much going on and it’s effects us in many ways so that’s more than likely why your hair doesn’t feel good. It always looks so nice a shame to cut it off when you can put it up. I do hope you have good news re your move soon it will be nice to see you finally settled have a great week and I too walk as much as I can it’s great for your head and the thinking process As like you say we all get down. I lost my brother in February we were the last two of our family and now I feel so lost without them all but life goes on and those sad times go on too 🙃Keep ranting love to hear it 😊😊😊
Suzie don't 4get your hair scarves. They make such a difference when your hair is driving you mad ..... Thanks for being open about being fed up. Your advice was spot on... Congrats on house move. So glad you gave an update n truly hope u r in b4 Xmas. Can't wait 2 c u make it into a home 🎉
Oh yes, get yourself a super trendy pixie cut, you'll never look back. Bobs are just too much hard work! I reckon you timed your move just right. Who knows what's going to happen in the housing market with all these stamp duty hikes. You're so right about getting out of the house. I try to every day. Even just for short walk can lift one's spirits.
I love your sunglasses, red lipstick and black outfit. Black looks great on you. Silver hair matches most colors. Love your new prescription glasses. I’m looking for a new style. Yes, I’m not looking forward to wintertime with SAD. Starting already with less sun. Doing everything I know and it helps. Thanks for the inspirational talk. Always necessary. The vintage blouse is beautiful. Have a good week. ❤️
I like seeing Amanda in your videos, such a talented artist and interesting person. You're right about getting out, I'm not particularly sociable but I make an effort to go out, it makes a difference. I would add that people should try something that scares them a bit. Example: go to a Karaoke club and sing on stage alone, not with your friends up there. Every time I do it (3 times now) my heart is pounding and after it's finished I'm thrilled! The last time I went I went on my own because everyone bailed out on me, but I was comfortable in the place since I had been before, people are friendly. I didn't stay long but I did it.
Hi, just happened across your channel and loved your vlog so much, your little pep talk about getting out is like a friend telling me to do that, you have such a lovely positive vibe x Have subscribed
I have thick hair like you and had an undercut at the back and sides when I wore a bob. It is nice having the option when it is longer up or down. Short hair is high maintenance - but you know that anyway 😊 You look lush regardless ❤ wishing you well X
Trying a creative class in my community, getting together with a knitting group, or just finding a way to volunteer in the community… When you’re giving and helping others, it takes the focus off of one self… Then I stop feeling sorry for myself. Gorgeous outfit! Gorgeous makeup-you look very youthful, darling !
Thank you for being so honest about your feelings, it’s a good push for us all to get moving. You look great in the black glasses and black outfit by the way.👍
Hi Suzi I hope you feel better in yourself soon it’s a very stressful time for you .I love your hair back of your face and I loved the jumper tucked into your jeans .But go and buy new ones that’ll cheer you up .I hope you have a good week ,thank you for the tips on getting out and doing stuff .❤❤❤take care xxCollette
Enjoyed this vlog Suzi 😊 So pleased your move is imminent 👍 Loved your clothes too and very stylish as usual.Keep smiling Suzi and I’m sure I speak for most of your subscribers that you’re a breath of fresh air to us all❤
Yes I need to leave home more often, now I go out only for work, yard work and to feed my colony cats but due to awful pain this year and a following surgery that was really painful, I have become a hermit. Not bored because I love reading and watching programs but staying in all the time is not good for my mental health. Maybe today I'll go to the beach, a 10 minute drive away and gorgeous Florida cooler weather. Can't you use the tracker app to locate the missing airpod? Hoping you get into your new place soon...and give us a tour, before and after,
@@AlternativeAgeing No beach just reading a biography on Robbie Williams and really sad now about our elections. This week I will be starting my 64th year with some extra pep in my step...I hope.
Hi Suzie, you look fabulous as usual ❤️. I love your new tops especially the smocked one. I don’t believe short hair ages you as someone on here says, but I love your hair. I’m no good at fixing my hair so I keep it pixie length. I’m 72 and have had short hair for many years. You need to have your hair the way you want it…short or bob length…it will look great either way. Thanks for your vlog and sharing your life with us ❤️
You are so right I will take onboard your words of wisdom about getting busy. Your hair is lovely but it's your hair. Do what right for you. Best wishes x
Hi Suzi, yes. I have good Scottish friend who tried to buy a house outside of London a couple years ago. What a wild way to do transactions. He ended up not getting the one he wanted. It makes much more sense in the US. I do love your hair. But I understand wanting it very short. I too always wear mine in ponytail even though it is long. I might as wall have it short. Prayers and positive thoughts about your flat.
Thank you for your always interesting videos & greetings from Oz. I’m so very pleased for you that you finally have a date. Soon all the waiting will be a thing of the past 👍🏻 How exciting! Another new chapter…
Thanks for the pep talk…… always remember this life is not a dress rehearsal go out and live life …… I think as women when we need a change our hair is the 1st to change because we have control over it…..You always look beautiful!!!
Yes Suzi, exercise and going out are great to lift the mood, dog people know this well, and the impromptu chats with people you meet on the way. I am praying you are in your flat before xmas, thanks and have a fantastic week.
Your words of advice are so spot on Suzi , for all of us . Keeps our minds & bodies young at heart . Jumper pulled out slightly . Good luck with the final stages of your move 😘
Looking beautiful ❤ Hang in there 😰 Stay positive ❤ You’ll be looking back at this tricky time from your lovely new home soon. You’re such an inspiration for all of us. We love your enthusiasm and all that you share with us as you explore and experience this wonderful world. ❤ P.S I’m loving your hair, so chic !
Americans might have a hard time understanding what vendor or exchange means...words we don't use with real estate...but its so British & therefore I ❤ these different terms. Learning something new!
I have thick hair, too. I have had it all in lengths throughout the years. Even shaved off! The best length for my own comfort is long, past my shoulders. Then I do my hair up in bun, using a hairdonut. This hairstyle suits everybody, no matter their face or body shape. It lifts your hair off the scalp and restrains it all.
Hi Suzi. My daughter and I went to Alfriston on tuesday and thought of you. There is a preloved clothes shop there and you would love the stuff in there. I hope your move happens soon for you I can’t even sell my flat 😢. I agree if you start feeling down get out and about in the fresh air it does you the world of good. 😊
Exactly the same thing happened to me I sold and went into rented to speed the process up, it worked in reverse! No one in the forward chain hurried because they knew I was just sitting there.after 3 months I lost my patience and threatened to pull out soon got things moving. 😂
Hi lovely lady, sorry that you have been feeling stressed x You look beautiful as does your friend Amanda x Your hair is so chic with the bob and short hair is very hard to manage, lots of love Mo xx

Divine news that the move is definitely going to happen. What a beautiful walk where Jack loved.Love to see those pale leaves with the sunlight filtering.Great new glasses!! Have a fab week❤❤
Hi Suzi, I prefer your shirts and tops out and not tucked in, love your weekly vlogs and your hair is fabulous, don't cut it, have layers cut and grow it, you can then leave it long or tie it back, hope you get to move into your new unit very soon
I am 71. I do the gym 3 days a week. Various classes/ gym etc always with coffee/tea and chats after with all my gym buddies. When I am home I am a iPad addict sadly. TH-cam is my friend. Yes I do get sidetracked with it all but hay ho. I used to get bored before my all these thins I do. The house gets a quick once over now and then. 🤣Oh and I do have a husband somewhere in the house, one adult child living in, one adult child living in Madrid but sadly no animals as he is not keen so this is how I fill my weeks now. I love your hair. Have you thought about a bob with an under cut at the back neck, tapering down to the longer side pieces? I love your jeans. Where are they from please? X
I have an under cut and it's usually bob so yes I love that and need it shorter and thinner and then I'll be happier. Loved hearing how you fill your days. Which jeans though? x
I understand your frustration with your hair, mine is just the same. I had a fairly short bob and the hairdresser put in some lovely beach waves and it looked fab. Im not too good at achieving the waves myself, but if I just dry it straight I feel as though I look like a medieval monk!!! I love the new jumper, beautiful colours and really suits you. Hope you get some good news soon about a date, fingers crossed ❤
Hi Suzi!! I missed this vlog so going backwards but always love to watch. Love your coast still, I think you've lost weight. Do love the new top from the vintage store untucked is great. I do love your hair. Mine is salt & pepper more pepper other than front with no fringe & very long about 6 inches past my shoulders always wearing it in sort of a clip or pony use purple shampoo & occasionally add dry shampoo to give clarity to white as have well water. Can't stand hair in my face but I know in past winters hated shorter hair so may wait until spring to cut it shorter. With severe neck issues now it's not physically fun to spend much time with arms up tending to it more. I felt your frustration with what was happening with the new flat. Is the owner wanting more money or haven't found where to go? Amanda always has a beautiful smile 😍. Happy Belated Birthday 🎂! Yes v neck girl. Is this where someone said you cut her off? Only a little. I smile when I hear you say you're not supposed to buy new things 😊. Sometimes we need to others want to. But still we care & do our best. It's getting cooler than sweater weather here & dark so much earlier. In next video though the new flat is a go & loved the tour; don't recall a date?? My fur babies fat kitten & old tiny sweetheart of a chihuahua are loves. I do also need to move not sitting over an hour; alarm is a good tip ! I need to walk my Hershey in a minute. I do love my animal family but I don't travel anymore 😢. Yes get up & move. I think though winters might be a time to replenish. Each day seek peace, care & do something. Add being a kind human. There's such division in my country, hopeful. Big hugs 🤗. ❤
Hi Suzi, ive missed a couple of videos, so nice to see you today. Your hair is your crowning glory. If you want a change why not,. I think you would suit a Mary Quant style, as a fringe suits you.Only prob with a specific cut is it needs more frequent cutting. At least with a longer length you can make a variety of looks, and your scarves are so nice. Those are great jeans on you, they look expensive they fit so well. Its nice that they arnt tight. Moving is a stressful time, and you havnt got Jack to get you out, so all these changes are bound to make you feel a bit miz. Sorry to ramble, take care......Alioban ❤
All my jeans are really baggy and I buy "paper bag" styles from Zara, so not not expensive at all. They seem to suit my body with no bottom! Thank you for the lovely comment. x
As a permanent wig wearer it is a good idea .... but there again wigs are expensive! I now have an ever growing collection of short styles in many shades of grey and love choosing my 'hair' to go with my outfit each day. Take it out of the box, give it a shake and I'm good to go. I think I'm addicted!
Community is everything. I've never understood boredom as there's so much life to live. I squirm at the thought of a tv; such a waste of precious time on this planet. Each day is a blessing. ❤ For anyone living with depression ,I will say prayers for you , very tough to live with.❤❤❤
@@MGE9436 As I said, my heart goes out to anyone living with depression , loneliness or housebound. My best friend is 96 and she's incredible, never a dull day. Another friend is paralysed from the waist down and is the most inspirational person I know. Attitude is everything ❤❤❤
Suzi, our clocks have changed for summer. I have to wait another hour now to watch your vlogs 😮 your words of wisdom resonate with many, especially me ⚘️ Anticipating your move to happen, the vendor has fluffed around too much. Men honestly 😫
Love love love the striped top styled any way but all of your new clothes looked great. I like your hair tied back. I also liked your short cut when you showed us photos of your glamorous past. The photo with Kylie I believe. Go for it if you want you can always grow it back. Quite right about getting out, nice if you can go with a purpose a nice cup of coffee on the beach, a trip to the library etc, doesn't need to involve spending money.
That blue and orange top looked wonderful on you. When I feel blah I just try to move about, a walk or a run. Usually it helps, if not then off to bed with a plan for the next day!
After losing my husband of 48 years last year, I never really want to go anywhere but when I get off my backside and mingle, even a quick trip round M&S and a cheery “hello” to a neighbour, I feel so much better. ❤

AND, finally, thanks so much for sharing honestly ❤
I so agree with you on all counts! Making the most of every day is exhausting me but I go to bed earlier and wake up earlier! x
Don’t listen to everyone❤. You do what you think with your hair. You know your own style❤. Congratulations on moving into your new home🎉
Being happy single ( mother and grandmother) since 2005, having two lovely little dogs. The dogs give structure to my life and i walk several times a day. LOVe your mohair plaid coat.
Yes, doggies are everything and I know I will get another when the time is right! x
So true. x
I think your hair would look great a little shorter…go for it!
X
@ Thanks Suzi!!🙏🙏🙏😍😍😍
Amanda is such a breath of fresh air🎉💜💙❤️💚🥰
Isn't she wonderful. Wait till you see us next week! x
Enjoy seeing all your friends, if you can stop talking over them. Sorry but I can’t hear their answer etc.
You’re not a twit. Your comment will resonate with many people
You're not a twit, we all feel like this occasionally. Even youngsters! It's being human. x
The bob is ur signature hairstyle 👩🏻🦳🥰
Thank you so much Sue, what lovely words, very grateful. x
@AlternativeAgeing thank you so much and hope you find your happy home soon xx
I like the sharp bob you had at the beginning, I'm not sure if its longer now ❤ Thanks for the reminder to keep moving every hour. Xx
I lost my brother in February we were the last two of our family and now I feel so lost without them all but life goes on and those sad times go on too 🙃Keep ranting love to hear it 😊😊😊
Moving on the 29th so all nearly settled!!! x
I'll be in on the 29th and you were right about the headscarves so thank you! x
You look so good in the black yoga outfit. It looks so flattering and sophisticated. Simple styled clothing really becomes you
Thank you! I thought black didn't suit me, it certainly does in an outfit like that, doesn't it?! x
That's a brillient idea and you went on your own, that is AWESOME. I will follow your lead since everyone is so friendly in Brighton! x
Great blogpraying for your move to go quickly smoothly. 🙏🏻🥰👍💚☘️💚
Hi, just happened across your channel and loved your vlog so much, your little pep talk about getting out is like a friend telling me to do that, you have such a lovely positive vibe x Have subscribed
Thank you Vicki and Welcome! Suzi x
Thanks for the words of wisdom - they really DID help just to know I’m not the only one feeling this way x
Thank you for being so honest about your feelings, it’s a good push for us all to get moving. You look great in the black glasses and black outfit by the way.👍
Thank you. x
You are a breath of fresh air. Love it.😊👍💐
Your hair is amazing and beautiful! I hope you decide not to cut it short. But if you do, I hope you will like it.
Enjoyed this vlog Suzi 😊
So pleased your move is imminent 👍
Loved your clothes too and very stylish as usual.Keep smiling Suzi and I’m sure I speak for most of your subscribers that you’re a breath of fresh air to us all❤
Yes I need to leave home more often, now I go out only for work, yard work and to feed my colony cats but due to awful pain this year and a following surgery that was really painful, I have become a hermit. Not bored because I love reading and watching programs but staying in all the time is not good for my mental health. Maybe today I'll go to the beach, a 10 minute drive away and gorgeous Florida cooler weather. Can't you use the tracker app to locate the missing airpod? Hoping you get into your new place soon...and give us a tour, before and after,
Your colony cats ❤🐈 What a kind human you are 🙏🤗
Did you go to the beach? I do hope so. And no the tracker app didn;t work, sadly. More on that on Sunday. x
@@AlternativeAgeing No beach just reading a biography on Robbie Williams and really sad now about our elections. This week I will be starting my 64th year with some extra pep in my step...I hope.
When I get bored with everything I bake and share it with neighbours
Great idea, if only I could bake! x
Thanks for your vlog and sharing your life with us ❤️
Your yoga outfit looks fab - it really suits you as do both your new tops. Best of luck with the move.
Suzi, the darker lipstick looks great on you.
And soon I will be back to my favourite country! Where are you? x
North of Byron 👍🏻
Thank you Suzie. Wise advice. You look adorable as usual. Congrats with your living situation. Can’t wait to see you settle in.
Thanks for the pep talk…… always remember this life is not a dress rehearsal go out and live life …… I think as women when we need a change our hair is the 1st to change because we have control over it…..You always look beautiful!!!
Awe thank you x
Yes Suzi, exercise and going out are great to lift the mood, dog people know this well, and the impromptu chats with people you meet on the way. I am praying you are in your flat before xmas, thanks and have a fantastic week.
I will be, moving on the 29th! So excited. x
Your hair looks fabulous as always. 🐞
Your words of advice are so spot on Suzi , for all of us . Keeps our minds & bodies young at heart . Jumper pulled out slightly . Good luck with the final stages of your move 😘
Your words are very wise, Suzy.... im going to make this my mantra.
Loving the Lisbon tops looking fabulous Suzy.
Thank you for sharing 😊❤
Enjoyed your video , Suzi. Thank you. Yes ,count our blessing for sure. Big Hugs 🙂
I luv your hair and your fabulous style you are an inspiration age has nothing to do with style and you have it in spades x
Sorry but that's what we say! We don't say real estate either. So close yet so far! x
YES YES YES cut your hair you will look so much younger!!😊
I'm moving on the 29th! It all worked. Awful isn;t it?! Never again! x
You keep being you Suzzie you are AMAZING 👏 I do 10min CHAKRA MEDITATION 🧘♀️ IT'S AMAZING WHEN UNDER PRESSURE!!!! ❤❤❤
Hiya Suzi, thank you for sharing. 🤞For you re new home. Blessings luv southern Ontario Canada 🇨🇦🐝

And you too, have a lovely week all in the US. x
@AlternativeAgeing Im in Spain!!
love the floral shirt 😀
Would love to see you with short hair. I say go for it!
Which jeans though? x
Ah Suzzie I can just see sweet Jack pondering up leafy lane with you!!!! Sweet sweet memories, you could see he loved it ❤️ ♥️ 💕
Love your energy Suzie. New to your channel. Yes get out, even for a walk.🌟😄👍
“Medieval Monk” made me smile. I had my hair flat ironed once and my brother thought I looked like Moe from the Three Stooges. Look them up.
Short hair can look very chic!
Love your attitude x
Great advice Suze 👏👍⭐️
Great vlog. We all get down as you say get out in the fresh air always works for ne
Thank you for the lovely comment. x
I think short hair could REALLY suit you Suzi! I love someone's suggestion to try on some wigs, to see if you like it!
@@essanjay8604 Love that idea! x
Best of luck with the move 🤞🤞 thanks for the vlog - like the new tops 👏👏👏👏
Community is everything. I've never understood boredom as there's so much life to live. I squirm at the thought of a tv; such a waste of precious time on this planet. Each day is a blessing. ❤
For anyone living with depression ,I will say prayers for you , very tough to live with.❤❤❤
Bit harsh. One day, you might understand more about this limbo living. It's not a choice in life.
Not at all, it's how I see life. ❤

As I said, my heart goes out to anyone living with depression , loneliness or housebound. My best friend is 96 and she's incredible, never a dull day. Another friend is paralysed from the waist down and is the most inspirational person I know. Attitude is everything ❤❤❤
At first when i saw the thumbnail i thought the shadow of the window was part of the dessin of a dress. I liked it very much! 😂
Both tops tucked in for me and the jeans are great you don’t need new . Also the words ‘it will pass’ may help
Suzi, our clocks have changed for summer. I have to wait another hour now to watch your vlogs 😮 your words of wisdom resonate with many, especially me ⚘️
Anticipating your move to happen, the vendor has fluffed around too much. Men honestly 😫
How lovely to have the resources for a holiday whenever you need one.
Only because `I have downsized! That's the main reason I did it. x
Your face structure looks different when you wear your hair back Suzie...suits you 🤩
Oh yes, cut it. I have your type of hair, cut it short and it's great. Good luck.
Love love love the striped top styled any way but all of your new clothes looked great. I like your hair tied back. I also liked your short cut when you showed us photos of your glamorous past. The photo with Kylie I believe. Go for it if you want you can always grow it back. Quite right about getting out, nice if you can go with a purpose a nice cup of coffee on the beach, a trip to the library etc, doesn't need to involve spending money.
love the lovely stripe jumper tucked inside the jeans looks great
Wonderful chat!
That blue and orange top looked wonderful on you. When I feel blah I just try to move about, a walk or a run. Usually it helps, if not then off to bed with a plan for the next day!
