Red Green is one of those shows where you can look at almost any episode and tell which season it's from -- partly because of the characters, partly the title cards, mostly the plaid.
It was filmed the previous season but not used, they film the non-storyline segments all at once so it saves money...it’s the first time it’s been noticeable in Handyman Corner
@@bostonrailfan2427 it's not the first time there is the car that was used several times from different angles headlight replacement, dent repair, greenhouse, ect. Also the aluminum canoe that was destroyed for the power boat winch repainted and used as the one Helmet crashed and finally painted again and made into a grandfather clock
Red makes an inexpensive boat trailer out of tow old bikes. The word is two in that sentence not "tow" thought I point out that spelling error for you.
7:19 the funniest thing about this, is he's almost right. As opposed to just RV's, It was a lot of dissatisfaction over a complete of luxuries, that westerners took for granted. The PEOPLE wanted the stuff and innovations that capitalism breeds, but an authoritarian government, oppresses. They, at one point, just to prevent riots, had by tons of Levi's Jeans and let the people have them, as an example. Even with the technology in China, for example, it's capabilities are suppressed and the people oppressed and treated like little more than cattle and fodder for the governments whims. China is on verge of total economic and social collapse. The Chinese "communist" Government is corrupt to the core and corrupts everything it touches. Even the people. Baby formula that kills the babies who drink it. Canned pork with ground up card board as filler. The examples go on. Then, the government sinks all of its money, for the next 100 years into projects that never even had a chance of succeeding. Not only have they produced far too much in real estate projects, turns out the corruption has lead to those buildings being death traps as they are now starting to collapse under their own weight. Substandard materials and practices, due to corruption. Here's the thing. No country who turns "communist," actually does. They just add the word communist to the name of their government. Communism, true communism, isn't authoritarian. But when the revolts took place, the people in charge were just deceiving the majority and installed themselves into a dictatorship or totalitarianism. Authoritarian, either way. This world has never seen a truly communist government and I don't think there could be a way to make such a system work. True communism leaves no incentive to work nor to excel. It is a delusional ideology that has never been able to be truly put into practice. The authoritarian governments last longer, but in today's world with such a globalized economy and such interconnectivity, even authoritarian governments can't hold their power for long. Another truth about authoritarian governments, is that their power is based and resides in, the fanatical ideologically minded. We are seeing a movement in this direction form the shrinking religious sector, in the U.S. They have become a minority, as religious belief fades. Now they are angry that no one wants to buy into their god delusions. Make no mistake, the Jan 6 insurrection was as much about religion as it was about politics. The two are now intertwined. That group was 98%, one of two categories; Hate groups, in which their hatred is still based or at least was originally based in religious BS. Most of that hatred is now hand-me-down hatred. Their grand daddy hated, their pappy hated, so now they hate. No rhyme no reason, just hatred and intolerance based in habit, religious belief and ignorance. The other group of that 98% nd the group that made up most of those who were less violent, but cheered the violence on, were religious in nature. These are the gullible idiots who believe anything their chosen leaders tell them, without EVER fact checking. These are the people who would the transcript of the phone call proved trump was legit, when in fact, if they had actually read it, they would know otherwise. These are the peopel who claim to be christian, but have never even actually read the bible. Maybe they read a few cherry picked lines, but never the whole thing and never without someone right there, wispering or screaming in their ear, telling it means something other than what it says. Well, sorry. this a comedy. Those 3 paragraphs are something I just know, when combined with what was just said, it struck me as so funny, because he wasn't THAT far off, but as intended in the show, he hasn't clue about what he's talking about. Maybe my sense humor is too cerebral at times, but to me, that just made it even funnier. so please excuse my verbose explanation. But at the same time, it shows the humor is still somewhat relevant.
@soundwave If you are going to be a member in good standing of the spelling and grammar gestapo you should make sure your comment meets the impeccable standards of that noble organization. “thought I point” is not grammatically correct. I thought I would point that error out to you for future reference.
You are missing a comma between "gestapo" and "you". Also, since "thought I point" was the in the beginning of the sentence, "though" should have had the T capitalized. That is, if being grammatical correct was the intent. This message brought to you by the SGG. :P
So good! I watch the Red Green show on loop and shuffle every day.
'The snap heard round the world' LOL 🤣 Simply an excellent show with a stellar group. Ty ty so much all 😆
...thanks a lot, Red, you just predicted Thanos.
I love it when Bill throws something, someone from off-screen shouts "HEY", and the object he threw comes back and hits him.
Could that have been Buster Hatfield that did it in this episode?
@@johnnyhall4335Or Old Man Sedwick.
@@mower2008 No, that yell didn't sound old and crotchetty enough.
Probably Junior Singleton
That little sound when Red puts his hand spiky metal pipe is one of the most painful noises in television.
How crazy is it that Bills pants that he wore as a joke is the style now 🤣
Bill is nothing less than a complete hazard to come in contact with LOL
On a mission to watch/like/comment on every Red Green episode. Keep your stick on the ice.
Is it just me, or is Glenn making sense here?
Michael Ray now that’s scary!
Probably time to watch something else
?What if he's right ?
Officials don’t need them and the people can’t afford them. Glenn’s pretty darn close.
Episode 69! Nice
Mercury Lake will never be the same.
Has it ever been the same before Possum Lodge was established?
You can really tell this is an early episode.

Whatever you do; don't hand this man a squeaky toy. He might get an idea.
RedGreen has run us out of Aries K cars too
No one noticed Red has the old RED suspenders (both sides) in the segment @ 8:00 ?
Actually @ 3:30.
And the canoe is the same as the porch swing canoe
AJ Bowen they use the same props until completely destroyed, it saves money and is part of the theme of reusing stuff

Huh... The Handyman Corner looks like a season 1 segment!
They probably filmed a bunch all at once

Nice.
... why are you raking the forest?.....
The raking the leaves on the lodge property.
Sounds like a candidate for Gallaghers' ICBM-W. The intercontinental ballistic missile Winnebago. 6:20

Mercury creek? Is that near silear city or mount pilate ?
Dirka dirka
what do they say at the meeting?
“quando omni flunkus moritati”
(When all else fails, play dead)
lol
what if the women dont find you handsome or handy?
Always hated it when they made that fake possum sound to signal that it was meeting time.
Quando omni flunkus moritati!
Sit down
You know I once tried to get my boyfriend to say the oath. He refused.
The translation is wrong. It's when all else fails play dead. (Like a possum does)
