About Seinfeld:
Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life's most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Often described as "a show about nothing," Seinfeld mines the humor in life's mundane situations like waiting in line, searching for a lost item, or the trials and tribulations of dating. Co-starring are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jerry's ex-girlfriend and current platonic pal, Elaine Benes; Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Jerry's neurotic hard-luck best friend; and Michael Richards as Jerry's eccentric neighbor, Kramer.

George demonstrating that he can detect every small ounce of suffering that someone may not even know they have
Jerry: "Are you sensing something now?"
He is annoyed
and then whatever he does next backfires on him tenfold hahahah
“They’re running like penguins!” 🤣🤣
Jerry’s classic ending line “That’s a shame.”
Jerry was funnier than people give him credit for....
@@crazyjoedavola5430No he wasn't.
@@crazyjoedavola5430No he wasn't.
@@crazyjoedavola5430 It’s quite possible that every single character on the entire show, even those who only appeared in one episode, or even one or two scenes were funnier than Jerry. However, Jerry was still really funny in my opinion.
Buck Showalter's "problem with Tartabull's swing" line always gets me 😂😂
delivery was decent too
Then George helps him in The Pledge Drive (s6e3) "The Bull owes me one, I helped him with his swing" 😂😂
George reading headlines from the newspaper so enthusiastically is such a delight....and not to forget swing action giving back pain to Georgie boy 😂😂
You must have watched the same video we all did. 🤦
Thats a shame.
What a fabric, finally we can breathe!😂😂😂😂😂
~Wade Boggs
i know someone who could have used that fabric heheh hahahah moahhahah!
George approved the Nike jerseys, classic Constanta move
Oh I love contanta. He old time movie star! He gey, he sukmydik?? 😮
"that's a shame" 😆
"Well, all of a sudden there's a problem with Tartabull's swing..."
Lol! Right after George was telling him to change the way he swings the bat! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
To me, that's almost funnier than the whole cotton uniform joke!
@@B-and-O-Operator-Fairmont Yep it's my favorite part of the whole thing! 😂
Underrated joke
I’ve literally been thinking of this episode since MLB changed their jerseys. They’re atrocious 😂😂😂
There was shrinkage.
Significant shrinkage! 🤣🤣
Like a frightened turtle!
@@wvu05No it wasn't.
You mean like laundry?
Perfect timing due to the uniforms changes in baseball today.
What'd they change?
@128thMic the pants, the letters of the players' names in the back.
And funny how it came true with the new unis
George Costanza, assistant to the traveling secretary/hitting coach!😂
3:29 reference to Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy.
Also the first time in the series they phrase "That's a shame" which became a thing in later episodes. First George 3:42 then Jerry at 4:14.
Jerry couldn't care less, he never cared about George misery. 😄
Legend has it George pitched the idea to Nike and got the Yankees cool base jerseys
"I never dreamed anything can be so soft and fluffy"
Oh my God, Mattingly just split his pants! 🤣🤣
I thought he said “Mattingly just wet his pants” lol “split”makes more sense haha
@@Thee-bob 🤣🤣
@@Thee-bobNo it doesn't.
You see that’s what water does: it shrinks things
How can the Yankees not know the proper laundry cycle for cotton?
That, and ordering them a size too large to account for shrinkage
Or wash them before use!
@@PTANV-x2g What do you mean, like laundry?
@ arvindhmani06 No, like when a man goes into the pool.. afterward…
@@PTANV-x2g 😮 ...it shrinks?!
Maybe Fanatics should have hired George for the new uniform design.
Even though George is 100% right here. It backfires epicly.
That's George Costanza.
I'm really confused though how polyester would be hotter than cotton. I have polyester shirts & cotton shirts & I wear polyester in the spring & summer because it's much cooler to me.
George's sales pitch: "I been talking to some of the guys, and some of them...I don't wanna mention any names. But some of the are not too happy with the polyester uniform". He somehow forgets to mention 'some' is just him. LMAO
😂😂
George , please don’t help! Lol, everything he tries to help with goes wrong!
The same goes for Kramer.... almost all his ideas are also doomed to failure! 😂😂
@@rattus3102No they're not.
"suddenly there's a problem with Tartabull's swing"... Missed it the first time :)
Jason Alexander is such a phenomenal actor. His pitch to Buck shouldn't be hilarious, but his tempered enthusiasm to finally put his stamp on the Yankees + just the way he sort of becomes a natural salesman is so funny!
I think you may have something there George, oh I've got something.
The dialogs are so sharp and edgy, it's so entertaining.
Is George the new CEO of fanatics?
This vid was released exactly when the MLB is ruining the real jerseys
coincidence....I THINK NOT
Showalter had some decent acting game, loved his suspiciousness of Costanza here
That would come in handy at the end of The Wink.
@@fromthehaven94No it wouldn't.
@@scarygary-qq1pjI meant all the names Steinbrenner ratted off of the managers who he fired.
Welcome to the George Costanza MLB 2024 uniforms.
If Biff just stuck to doing the opposite like he did to get this job, he’d have Steinbrenner’s desk.
The timing of this 🤌
Announcer: they're running like penguins! at 4:08 LOL
George is the best🤣💯👍
Perfect time to post this
No it's not.
Everyone's here after
Nike/Fanatics ruined the jerseys for real!
They want us to pay $400 for that crap🙄🤦😅
George eating a bird while talking about her dead doves is comedy genius
"Well, all of a sudden there's a problem with Tartabull's swing".
Just imagine the fun some of the Yankees had making guest appearances on a top network TV show.
George may have really broke Tartabull's swing. His batting average fell 32 points the next season!
1994 - BA .256
1995 - BA .224 (He was traded after 56 games)
I wonder how George would feel about city connect uniforms and the fact they’re made by Fanatics lmao
polyester 😭😭😭😭😭
Cotton > polyester
Geogre doesn't like shrinkage. It's anathema.
Oh George has something alright. I think it's some sort of Unified Personality Disorder that science has yet to prove but appears funny.
George was the Original Fanatics Experience by ruining MLB Jerseys.
Oh.....I've got something 😂
the reason polyester has taken over is..the power of the plastic companies..+ cheeeper!!!!!!
Easier to take care of. Fewer wrinkles, less dry time.
The clutches of Big Plastic
Love Buck Showalter.
Swing and a miss, Georgie Boy
Pre-Torre championship Yankees. Great timing.
2:58: Earthquake
The Yankees that were on the show all were so great.
“That’s all going to change”
“…you’re going to do something about this?”
This video clip is from Seinfeld's Season 6 Episode 1 "The Chaperone" which aired on September 22, 1994. Now on February 2024 we have the following baseball news: The Nike-generated, Fanatics-produced MLB uniforms to be used this season are under fire from players with complaints including see-through pants. Yes, see-through pants! With spring training underway, the MLB Players Association is collecting feedback and hopes changes can be made before Opening Day. The controversial new unis have a lighter feel that also have a look that is more, um, sheer. Nike is scrambling to save face. Yankees players featured on video: Danny Tartabull and managerBuck Showalter.
Nat Showalter had great years at Dudy Noble
Im here to beg you to make my own Pizza pie !!!
Big business guys .. alright .. alright
How many times do we have to watch this clip for Buck to finally get royalty checks for this episode?
😂😂😂😂
Hey Buck talk you for second sure George
George Costanza designed the new Nike uniforms.
What a coincidence. MLB players have been complaining about the new uniforms for this upcoming season. Not the fabric so much but the design. I'm not sure how things were done in the MLB in 1995, but there is a contract between a clothing company and the MLB so I'm not sure that a team can just change a uniform like in this clip.
2:56 🐦 🌙
*POLYESTAH*
Imagine if they had to wear those heavy wool uniforms from 100 years ago.
Yet another episode regarding that infernal problem all men face: shrinkage!
Isn't cotton going to be heavier and hotter in the summer.
"Good night Ollie".
"Good night Stan". 🥨
Haha, you are right.
I didn't realize that scene was a reference to Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy until i read your comment! 😂😂
@@rattus3102Yes you did.
When I was fifteen years old I bought my for pair of leopard underwear. My mom came into my bedroom one morning to wake me up to get ready for school and saw me in my leopard underwear. She said to me nice jungle undies Tarzan. George is gorgeous looking
Buck looks better in a Mets uniform, but happy to get Seinfeld clips :)
Did George design the new MLB uniforms?
that’s a shame..
It's a show about failure. 😜
I still like to know in 2024 who won the fight double dip guy end who won the dip fight rematch in 2024 hmmmm
What an annoying laugh track. Every other word is the funniest thing of all time.
Of course!!
Polyester is the culprit!!!
😂
