My childhood cards if they were graded would get 2-5 😂
I took care of mine but they were still handeled and sorted without sleeves so probably 5-8s, but let me tell you the cards I got from trades are scratched to a different dimension lol

@@Dragonfly383 I got a box of poke and yugioh cards somewhere in the attic and I know for a fact there are some charizards, a blastoise, 3 blue eyes, 3 dark magicians and lord knows what else all 1st edition, but when graded they'd get a 1-3 at best. If I knew back then as a kid, what they'd be worth.. Oh boi.
My brother found a 1st edition dark charizard holo with no sleeve in my old room on the floor.. I somehow got it graded as a 8 20 years later
Hey there. I've been watching poke tubers this past year and it's gotten me back into buying cards. Back when I was a kid my binder of base set was stolen and it really took a toll on me. Started living vicouriosly though you, Leonheart, and Danny Phantump. Thanks for helping me get back into it in the right time!
that promo eevee brings back memories, i searched and traded for it even tho it was folded in 3 parts... i still have it. im guessing it is a psa -1 also have a flareon with a corner that was chewed on xD
hahahah back in the days we traded these cards on the schoolyard, its crazy when you see the numbers today and then think back
The numbers today are what they are because of the schoolyard and the heavy play. We tossed them around, which means cards in good condition are harder to come by. If everybody slabbed them up and top loaded them fresh out of the pack, they wouldn’t be worth anything today. Rarity, scarcity, nostalgia, etc propels the demand even at these insane prices.

I wish I could get my collection graded but I’m too poor. The only way I could get enough money to grade my cards is to sell my collection, which would be dumb, because I wouldn’t have a collection to grade 😂
I have an late 80's basketball card collection worth $$ but I can't afford to spend thousands of $$ to have them graded. I did sell and ungraded 88 Jordan Sticker for $530.

That rocket mewtwo changed my life when I got one in Japanese. That was my crown jewel next to my charizard. Sadly my entire collection was stolen. I never collected again. I have a 1 year old and I think it's time.

Crazy I remember watching this collection awesome they finally made it back! I think like everyone I wish I would of kept my childhood collection.
It’s crazy... some of those cards looked so much better than their graded score, but obviously they are in a case and I’m watching a video on my phone.

I get the feeling that even if you opened a fresh pack of pokemon cards, their PSA rating would not be a 10.
Well as they can come out of the pack damaged, miscut, misprinted and god knows what else, of course they wouldn’t. If it was as easy as pulling it and sending it to grade they wouldn’t be worth so much would they?
That’s a tough call on selling. Me personally, I’d never contemplate selling my collection. It holds too many memories for me. A small bundle of time I’ll always cherish. But at the time it felt like it would never end. I miss it!

that dark raichu is a tough grade. Sent my 1st ed in and thought it was a 9 for sure if not 10 and came back a 7 as well. My base venasaur that looked worse came back a 9 lol
Some of the swirls on those cards are absolutely insane and probably bump the value up even a bit more! What an amazing collection and super cool of you to get them graded and make a video!! Keep em coming, Rev!

I think they are worth 50% less than 8 months ago. But at least 200k when we celebrate the 50th Anniversary
I think the whole collection will be roughly around 7,000 dollars.

Rev that mark on the Misty’s seadra is not a pencil mark or something else it must be a print mistake. because I have a Misty’s seadra to and it has the exact same mark, and exact shape and place.

Hey Rev when was this video made? There are base psa 9 charizards on eBay buy it now for 1200-1300$ USD right now. There were also a few others were the pricing was wrong.
Hey, the prices were pulled around 1 1/2 months ago. It can take a while from filming, editing, and then upload. Hopefully most are not too far off.

THE 9(MK) MEANS THERE'S A MARK ON THE CARD, ( PEN, PENCIL MARK) AND CARD WOULD GRADE 9 WITHOUT THE MARK ON IT!!! BUT THAT LOOKS LIKE A INK DOT FROM FACTORY!!!!

Just to add, as Im watching the video im like, hmmm. I paid $70 for that Blastoise in better quality than his, paid $45 for the Alakazam in equal quality, I feel bad for anyone who actually is paying these prices. Its all fiction, fantasy hype. That Dark Hypno I paid $30 for, with less damage than some of his 8 cards. Dark Magneton I paid $25 for, with no real damage, again,,, and all these ive bought THIS MONTH on ebay by grinding auctions. The base set Machamp 1st edition was given to everyone who bought 1 of those trainer boxes back then, you can buy one for like $10 on ebay right now, $20 if you want one thats mint. There was 1 unopened still in the wrapper for $30, so why would a graded 5 be worth more than like $20 lol? Noones gonna pay $42 for that. Its the most common 1st edition card, I paid $15 for one that based on these grades is a 9. I mean jesus, the Nidoking, Ninetales, paid $32 each for, not even an auction it was buy now, and both look amazing, not scratched up, no damage on the front, nothing more than white on the back. Im just trying to educate people rather than throw out random ridiculous prices that are all bullcrap. If I weren't sick dying disabled and basically near hospice I would start my own channel and try to educate everyone on how to actually own these cards cheap, rather than trying to push PSA grading onto my viewers so PSA can make money off of them. This is the stuff that makes me disappointed with the youtube pokemon card community. Its fun to make these videos but, its like Pawn Stars or Storage Wars, most of the prices are far far off.
