Since a good friend got me hooked on your music a few months ago, you have quickly become one of my all time favorite artists. I have always loved groups/duos that can harmonize well & you never disapoint, plus you have introduced me to many other amazing artists. I can't express enough how excited I was to see that you were doing a Pooh Corner cover - as a child I loved Winnie the Pooh & "made" my children watch the movies many times. The tradition has been carried on with my grandchildren now. Supurbly done!!
Side note - one of the reasons my friend introduced me to your music is Riley looks like he could be my son's twin (he also plays accoustic guitar & your manerisms are very similar too). Watching you sing makes me feel like I am seeing my baby boy perform. Thanks for continuing to share the love & joy of beautiful music!!
Absolutely beautiful Jeffrey, Hound and the Fox. Brought back a lot of memories of when my kids were young (in their 40s now). Thank you and hold those sweet precious boys tight, sometimes it keeps them from growing up so fast 😂. Loved it.

What a beautiful song! It brings me back to the days when my son was a baby and we would watch and sing all the Christopher Robin and Pooh songs. It was his favorite show and I loved our time together as we watched and sang. Thank you for bringing me back to Pooh and some awesome memories. By the way that baby boy just turned 37 last week. 🥰

This has to be one of the sweetest songs I've heard in a while, plus I have a soft spot for anything Pooh Bear related. Little Rowan (who will be not so little before you know it) walking around with his silly ol bear, wandering that pretty area 🥹 Oh the feels!
Such a sweet song & video! You guys all did a very beautiful version of this classic! I remember the first song written by Kenny Loggins "House At Pooh Corner" which he performed with Jim Messina back in 1971. It was based on the children's book of the same name. Also love this sequel that Kenny re-recorded (with an additional verse) in 1994. 🐻🐻🐻
Ok but did you know that Kenny wrote this when he was 17, and that it was first recorded by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in 1970, and then by Loggins&Messina in '71??? We were only familiar with Loggins' '94 version that has Amy Grant feature! Wild 💛🐻🍯
I actually did know that Kenny wrote it when he was very young & that it was first recorded by the "NGDB". But I mostly remember Kenny's version with Jim Messina on their Loggins & Messina album which I owned. @@TheHoundTheFox

🥺I’ll admit when this popped up on my suggestions my first reaction was “how dare you!”. I’m one of those people who believes firmly that some works shouldn’t be remade- be it film, music, etc, because so often the remake doesn’t do justice to the work or the artist. My kids fell asleep to Kenny Loggins Return to Pooh Corner CD, and now some of my grands do as well. I am a child of the 60s, so I grew up on House at Pooh Corner, first by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band then by Loggins & Messina. From every inch of my heart, thank you for this incredibly tender and beautiful rendition! ❤️ You have a new follower in me! I will be sending it on to my kids! 🥰

SAME! I remember finding out that he didn't make it up when I was 9 or 10 and being discombobulated by it (and then realizing of course he didn't - but he does write songs and play guitar, and we were Pooh fans and read the books/watched the show, too). It's perfect nostalgia

@@TheHoundTheFox Isn't that the truth. We lived at my grandparents ranch when I was young and we had an old tv that had dials to change the channel. I was about 4 yrs old and it was my job to go change the channel! Some of my best memories are of me sitting on the floor watching the old live action Pooh Corner and Dumbo's Flying Circus, with my mom and grandparents visiting in the background.

I saw the movie of Christopher Robin. He had such a terrible life as a boy, that he had to escape. Only because his father used him for his stories.
