    Lyrics:
Christopher Robin and I walked along
Under branches lit up by the moon
Posing our questions to Owl and Eeyore
As our days disappeared all too soon
But I've wandered much further today than I should
And I can't seem to find my way back to the wood, so
Help me if you can, I've got to get
Back to the house at Pooh Corner by one
You'd be surprised there's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky (chase the clouds away)
Back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh
Winnie the Pooh doesn't know what to do
Got a hunny jar stuck on his nose
He came to me asking help and advice
From here no one knows where he goes
So I sent him to ask of the Owl if he's there
How to loosen a jar from the nose of a bear
Help me if you can, I've got to get
Back to the house at Pooh Corner by one
You'd be surprised there's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky (chase the clouds away)
Back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh
It's hard to explain how a few precious things
Seem to follow throughout all our lives
After all said and done I was watching my son
Sleeping there with my bear by his side
So I tucked him, I kissed him
    And as I was going
    I swear that old bear
    Whispered, boy welcome home
Believe me if you can I've finally come
Back to the house at Pooh Corner by one
What do you know, there's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky (chase the clouds away)
Back to the days of Christopher Robin (back to the days)
Back to the ways of Christopher Robin (back to the ways)
Back to the days of Pooh

This song has more meaning than anyone I’m sure. It was the song I sung to my daughter as she took her last breath from going thru a rare cancer and at the time she was the only girl to ever have this cancer. And it was her favorite song and sang at age 3 1/2. Thank you Kenny for giving such joy to a child battling brain cancer. She was the sweetest and so smart and rarely did any of the treatments get her down she was just so happy and full of love❤

Does anyone know that Kenny was only 17 yrs old when he wrote this? He said he was getting ready to leave high school and was sad to leave his childhood behind. It was the first book he ever read. Such amazing talent as a songwriter and singer. He's been one of my very favorites all these years.

There's an old saying that if you lose your sense of childhood adventure you then get old. A few years ago a reintroduced myself to my love of the woods and streams. Some people use drugs to escape. I simply escape to the woods. My daughter shares the love of nature.

In 1984, July 13th, a Friday, I walked into the hospital gift shop and purchased an orange bear. I went back up stairs and waited with my wife for the birth of our first son. That night, "Orange Bear" sat watch over my son in the nursery and was with him every night and day thereafter for the next 22 months....until my second child was born, and my older son brought "Orange Bear" to the hospital and gave him to his little brother on April 17th, 1986. So, for the next three years to the day, "Orange Bear" remained at my younger son's side, until on April 17th, 1989, my daughter was born and "Orange Bear" made another trip to the hospital to protect and accompany my third child home.
Orange Bear remained sleeping on her bed until February 18th, 2012, when my oldest son became a father. That day, my daughter brought Orange Bear back to the hospital, called into duty again, to meet his new charge, my granddaughter. Orange Bear sleeps with her every night. Recently, my granddaughter told her Daddy that she hopes to have a sister or brother soon....so she can pass on the 34 year old Orange Bear! Now 37 year old, Orange Bear.

When my mom was pregnant with me in 1997, she sang this song almost every day to calm me down whenever I was stirring around too much. Then, when I was born and screaming my head off, while being surrounded by this whole group of doctors, my mom sang this song to me again. And then, according to her, I quieted right down, and every single doctor in that room just fell silent and was completely shocked.
So, needless to say, this song is truly magical and has played an important part in my childhood. And, to this day, I still love it.

My sweet 24 year old son passed away Nov 28th, 2022. His birth was traumatic. He wasn't expected to live. I played pooh corner on a cassette tape attached to his crib in the neonatal unit. The whole album is beautiful but pooh corner is my favorite. Thank you Kenny for taking me back to that moment when I could finally hold my son Noah, for the first time. I closed my eyes and I remembered him laying against my chest, holding him as he slept and thanking God for my miracle. My husband found this performance and sent it to me. I have seen Kenny Loggins several times, whenever he comes to the Toronto Canada. I was 22 when I fell in love with his music and I still have my Vinyl, Cassettes and CD’s. I always cry listening to this song. He touches your Heart like no other Artist. I saw him just weeks ago, his Final Tour at the age of 75. I had so many memories flooding through that I cried during most of the concert. Each one of his Brilliant songs has a Story to me and my family. Like This Is It, my grandmother was on life support and I had to drive 3 hours to say goodbye to her. I had this song on repeat, hoping that my grandmother would survive. Sadly I said my good bye as her eldest granddaughter and watched as they pulled the plug on her. I will never forget how each song has touched my Heart. Thank you Kenny Loggins for being such a brilliant songwriter and musician. Thank you for all the memories. I wish you the best in your next endeavour. Much Love Donna Marie, Toronto Canada , your Biggest Fan ❤

When I was a child, my mom used to sing this song to lift my spirits. We were such a musical home, constantly singing and playing instruments. I've not listened to it in so long, but now as she fights to breathe without a ventilator and has been in the ICU for a week, I'm coming back to it. I've listened at least a dozen times just because it brings me close to her when so much is unknown. What a wholesome, precious song.

What a wonderful song -- I was 12 when it was first released, and 35 when it was re-released as "Return to Pooh Corner" (this version), and I had a 6 year old and a 2 year old by then. This is a magical song, it will stand the test of time. Any parent who listens to it, whether in 1994 when it was re-released, today, or in years to come, will find significant meaning and wonder in its message. (Side note: I inherited my mother's original collection of A.A. Milne books, including "House at Pooh Corner" and "Winnie the Pooh," as well as the poetry books "When We Were Young" and "When We Were Six," from the 1930s. Those were simpler times, but they are still worth reading to your children -- as I do to my grandchildren.)

I met Kenny with my daughters at his Cleveland Ohio concert in 97 I believe. My daughters were 5 & 7 years old. We were up in the front rows. It also was when his Unimaginable Life book released, and if you bought the book at the concert, you were given a backstage pass for the book signing...and so we did. My youngest daughter had her Winnie The Pooh bear with her, and as our turn came up to greet Kenny, she threw her Pooh bear at him, and with her tiny hands on her hips she demanded "sign my Pooh bear"!!! Yes, this mom was mortified, but Kenny was so great with her, and told her, "I can't resist". And so together with his manager, Kenny signed Pooh Bear's red shirt, and she still has it ....22 years later! He is a magnificent person!

When he got to the gate where the parking was for the staff he just told him I was there to help him..they waived us in..I sat in a folding chair provided by security next the stage...when he would get sweaty his hair would fling around and I would his sweat on me.
I was going through some difficult things in my life at that time and it was wonderful to just listen to the music. This was in Santa Cruz, CA.

When my son was a little boy I used to play this song for him all the time and he's gone now but before he left there he blessed me with three beautiful grandchildren and I played both versions of the Pooh song to them every time my son heard it I would bring a smile to his face like a memory of days gone by the sun is not with us anymore but this song will always be for my Son and his three beautiful children and who knows maybe someday they'll get married and have children and play a song for them thank you Mr Kenny loggins

Kenny, can you make one the greatest dance-party tunes of all time?
KL: "Here ya go, I call it Footloose."
How about a high octane song about jet fighters and their pilots?
    KL: "Danger Zone
How about a smooth track for cruising to the golf course?
    KL: "I"m Alright"
OK, wow. Well I bet you can't make a kid's song so sweet that it moves adults to tears?!
    KL: "Hold my beer"

I was in a summer camp once, and they taught us this song to sing in front of our parents. All the parents started crying when we sang it, and we all thought it was because we were singing badly. Now I understand.

Yeah this was the song that all of my camp counsellors in my summer camp would sing every night as we were falling asleep. It brings back such nice memories

Sang this to my oldest as a lullaby in the early 80's. Taught/sang it to my youngest in 2010-ish. We would sing together on the way to school. Both, now grown, played/sang it back to me last Mothers day. Tears all around. The best memories. Thanks Kenny!

I can’t tell you how many times I sang my sons to sleep with this song. I’m guessing over a thousand times. They’re both in their 30s now, and we’ll always have those special moments in our hearts. Thank you Kenny.
