Major thanks to the Foster family that got that surgery done that's not cheap! That saved this dog's life.
It was the shelter that had the surgery done. After the success of the surgery he was able to be put up for adoption

THANK YOU DODO for featuring a doggy with megaesophagus! I have a dog with with this condition and what I want people to know that even for the dogs for whom surgery is not an option, adopting them and having them as pets is COMPLETELY worth it! It might seem scary at first, but the dogs LOVE the chair, and once you find a recipe and routine that works for the dog, their quality of life is 100% just like any other dog. Aside from the time it takes to find a routine and troubleshoot it, it doesn't take much extra time at all. I don't want people to be scared of or dissuaded from adopting these angels because of their condition. It's more common than you think, and SO many people out there handle it beautifully, and have dogs that live happy, full, long lives with it. And the doggies in the chair is, LITERALLY the cutest thing you'll ever see!

He is a beautiful dog and those eyes just melt your heart, full of wonder and love for his foster Mom who kept him healthy and got him his surgery and his amazing new Mom and Dad who will love him forever and keep him safe. Good job all around everyone! Thanks for sharing. Dodo never fails to brighten my day.
