Some cant keep their foster in order to help more dogs/cats to find forever home. If they adopt their foster that would sometimes mean they cant foster anymore coz honestly having pets at home is costly. I know they are hurt too giving up that sweet pup ❤
The sweet foster family had enough love to give him to a loving home, so they could rescue more dogs in need. Ted seems extremely happy, and his foster brother/sister was too. I have SO much admiration for people who are willing to open their homes to foster and go through the hard part of training and getting animals needed medical care, so they can be placed with permanent homes.

Is that why he doesn’t need wheels? I noticed some dogs have them and some don’t. I never understood what determines if they need it other than having money to buy it.
@@ThatGirlLib Most of the dogs with wheel chairs still have their back legs hanging there like dead weight so they cannot lift their butts up off the ground like Ted can. When they just drag their paralyzed legs behind them, the legs and hips start to get sores and open wounds on them unless you wrap them all the time, or they get caught on things and make the dog fall. Ted might benefit from wheels when he gets older, especially if he starts to get arthritis, or ends up with back pain, or front knee problems. But for now he seems to be doing well. His front legs seem to be a fulcrum point with his butt only being a little bit heavier than his head. Maybe if he starts having a harder time lifting up his butt they could put a little weighted collar on him to make his top half heavier so the butt half can lift up higher.

Me too! I would take him in a heartbeat! My three dogs are all adopted out of terrible "homes" and I could not love them more. They're crazy affectionate and follow me wherever I go. They have a good life with my family, as we have never, ever been without at least two dogs in our life. As an abused child, it was the dog that only loved me. So I give that love back to all my amazing dogs. I do whatever it takes to keep them happy and fulfilled. LOVE YOUR DOG - HE/SHE LOVES YOU UNCONDITIONALLY!!!

Those baby yips and barks melts this 64 year old guy's heart to jelly. In reality most two legged dogs/amputees aren't disabled much at all and are worth having.

I think they usually wait for them to stop growing before getting a cart.
I think it depends on the situation.
Ted seems to be old enough, and have enough leg strength in the front to keep his back up!
If anything I think they should have removed his legs sooner! Carrying around that much dead weight was probably really bad for him and messed with his spine.
@@betternow1906 he does now, but as he ages he'll end up with arthritis & chronic pain from the joint stress.

He needs a cart. The stress on his legs and back will be painful when he gets older. So happy he has a good home now. He would also benefit from maybe playing with a small skateboard. It would fun for him and give him more independence.

Hi ,I'm 48 (man) at just 38 my STOOPID doctor put me on painkillers for headaches ,I lost everything because I didn't know at the time they were opiates then to cover their asses they diagnosed me with Chronic pain and fatigue syndrome, So 10 year's of chronic ill health I've finally found a good doctor who is treating me for opiate withdrawal, So watching these POOR LITTLE DOGGIES go through soo much and still see them smile and LOVE how dare I not try the same THANK YOU FOR POSTING SCOOBS UK.
