People who abuse animals have something something seriously wrong with them mentally. We’d be safer with them in jail or on an island somewhere because if they can do hurt sweet, adorable and helpless animals (that so many humans feel the urge to protect), they would have no issue hurting another human. Hence why serial killers and psychopaths are known for starting out torturing and killing animals.

Piglet is so darn adorable, and intelligent that so many people would have loved to have given him a loving home from the beginning. Ears or no ears, he is a very, handsome Dude, and he is so lucky to have had a second chance at life with wonderful, loving, and caring people. Thank goodness there are more people like the foster mom and his adoptive mom and dad than those that are just plain cruel that get off on physically abusing animals. Thank you all for being so kind and loving. I also love Jasper, the dog with the constant smile! He is hysterical! Thank you for adopting these animals. They have such a great life now. Some years ago i couldn't catch up with a little dog running free as fast as he could go here in Sacramento. I stopped and quietly said, "little doggie, go home before you get hit by a car." then went inside. About 20 minutes later when outside again he is under a tree sniffing around. He allowed me to pick him up, clean him up, feed and hold him. His ears were not freshly cut but one was about 2/3rds gone and the other about 1/3rd gone. Kept him for a while then turned him over to Front Street Shelter then went back and adopted him. Very sweet animal with huge bark for a small dog.
If I were there I'd adopt the white kitten at 2:23. Love hearing those mews. The people who adopted Piglet are so blessed. Having a dog like that is living the good life.

Thank you for what you do. My little tripod is sleeping next to me right now, a graduate of the great work that Front Street does. She came to me after Ricardo fostered her after a fractured pelvis and a late night drop off. She was on the kill list due to the severity of her injuries. She was missing a leg, but this could have been a birth defect. So when she showed up at Front street, she could only use her front legs to move around. In pain, Ricardo fostered her back to health. And the she found me. And together, we won the life lottery.

How fantastic is this story when the dog gets adopted by a GREAT COUPLE and finds a permanent home that he can live out of.... I find it to be quite wonderful and can only hope for the dog to get the best life from them. Good for that family and I hope that they are all happy!!! I wish them the best, and hope that they have a great life together.
How people can be so cruel to an innocent defenseless animal. I'm glad he got a family that it's going to put him first. Make him the king of the house. God bless the lady who fostered him. He is a beautiful dog. He looks like a Dogo Argentino breed.

Sorry, but when I think about how scared and confused and in pain this puppy was in while he was being held tight to get his ears sliced off…it’s unbelievable. People are so evil
