Quick thing about the MONKEY titan.
The reason the characters call it a “beast” is because they don’t have monkeys in the walls. They’ve never seen one, so the closest animal that would be similar for them would probably be a bear.

@ In the raw translation of the original Japanese manga, when Eren repeats the word "monkey", it is spelt out in hiragana which implies that he doesnt know the meaning of the word and is merely repeating it out phonetically

Different inheritors manifest different animal traits is why it’s broadly called the “beast titan”. But the fact that the people of the walls JUST SO HAPPENED to guess the exact same names for the colossal, armored and female. The same names that Marley uses? Is probably a plot hole. My guess is the author probably didn’t have everything planned out at the time.

If culture is taken into account with Japanese as the main audience, it could be construed as writing in Kanji characters, which is much more believable than writing letters with a blade.
In my head I always thought he wrote the kanji for center, 中. Would be really easy to draw with blades

According to the interviews, Reiner's voice actor was directed to deliver that confession as if he is casually starting a conversation with buddies at a casual restaurant/diner setting... which, I thought, was a perfect direction, and VA did more than amazing job acting just like that.

Watching people rewind Reiner's dialogue because they thought they missed something and then losing their minds is my favorite form of comedy 😂😂😂 Also "fun" fact: Reiner and Bertholdt are currently 17 and Annie is currently 16. This means that 5 years ago, when they attacked the walls and killed hundreds of people they were 11-12. Do with this information what you will

14:47 I never understood why everyone thinks Eren was just trying to scheme against Reiner/Bertholt. No, he genuinely didn't believe or want to believe Reiner/Bertholt were the Colossal/Armored Titan. Just like how he didn't want to believe Annie was the Female Titan. It wasn't until they confirmed it by actually transforming infront of his face that he had to accept it.
he didn't want to believe it but he knew they were titans and was following hangi's order to not confront them.
Eren is acting suspiciously on Hanji's orders, and I think Eren is confused as to why Reiner said that when everyone else was trying to keep it a secret.

When they were going through the explanation, even by the end Eren said "What the hell, why are you guys saying things like that", he never acknowledged or came to accept. That's why he started crying when Reiner eventually transformed, cause at that point he HAD to accept it. The same way he didn't want to believe Annie was the female Titan either.
Because theyre watching in a language they dont understand so they dont hear the innuendoes that indicate the way eren is speaking. If you watch in dub its super simple lol

I'm kind of happy they missed the big reveal on the first watch. It just shows how the writers just nonchalantly dropped that nuke on the audience.
Warrior ep is the biggest and the most shocking betrayal ep in anime history
Remember when Reiner Jean and Armin were stuck outside the walls when Annie first attacked? Well Armin being the smart guy he is, had all but figured it out that Annie was the Female Titan.
But he was injured, and his horse was taken from him, so with only two horses and three people, they had to make a choice.
Armin offered to get left behind, knowing he was the least physically capable of the three, on one condition,
That Reiner report "something", specifically directly to Commander Erwin.
That "something" was undoubtably the identity of the Female Titan.
If Armin told Reiner that he knew Annie was the Female, Reiner might have killed him, but Christa (Historia) came just in time with an extra horse, so we'll never know.
