Its a great car. A lovely early sixties with trafficators. New floors and sills first and the rest when you have the time and money. She will look great. This was 5 years ago so hope she is up and running now!

The lamp that you show at 5:20 looks more like a parking light. Up until the late 60's, all cars had to display a parking light when parked up after dark; white to front, red to rear. The type you have there were clipped on the drivers window.....nothing to do with indicators/semaphore.

Its going to take some work and money, but it will be worth it in the end.

I speak from Portugal. My opinion is if you like this model a lot because you are not looking from the UK.....Now if you are willing to invest work, money and if gives you pleasure, go ahead but don´t count on the return.OK! Good lucky!!!!

Can the body shell be removed from the chassis, or is it a welded unitary construction?

The one I'm planning on buying is the same colour, but I don't know what the colour is actually called? Any ideas? I can't wait to see this restored!

+Chancho Chanchito Well there are a couple of colours which can be a bit confusing. However, this specific model is known as 'Birch Grey' and we've confirmed this with the VIN and V5c together with the old Buff logbook we have for this one, but similar shades are also out there which look very much the same such as 'Almond Green', 'Smoke Grey' and even 'Olive Green' although that in my opinion is very much darker than this shade. When checking your colour, use your VIN details from the bulkhead or if unsure, check with the Morris Minor Register through the club. Best of luck with yours and keep checking back as we have a few more videos to add just not had a chance yet!

I know some of that brought one in that condition, spend 1000s on and finished and looks amazing but he hates it. He needs to just sell it.

Painful to watch as I have covered a lot miles in a Morris Minor and enjoyed every minute and during that period we were putting rubbish on the Japanese cars, but the ball has changed and I am happy to drive a Mazda...sri
