Anakin was 45 years old when he died, and the original actor was like 80. Hayden right now doesn't look that different.
This is the best voice acted death battle in my opinion. The animation is great but good Lord that voice acting is peak and despite the fact that Vader lost a second time, this match up was at least a lot more balanced and fair then Dr. doom. Now that one was stupidly one-sided

I may be wrong about this, so please correct me if I am, but I seem to recall someone saying they were going to use the old canon of Darth Vader, and not the current version. If this is the case, then I can see why because maybe Darth Vader in the current version is far too powerful for Obito deal with even in 10 tails form. Then again, that hasn’t stopped death battle from doing shit stomp matches before.

@@Meepie_Playz I’m not being bias what are you talking about? Lol. I was talking about the animation of the voice acting, and I was just saying that I heard somewhere that they were using Darth Vader and the old canon. I love Naruto way more than Star Wars and I’m super happy Obito won.
They specifically said that Obito's power rivals Hagoromo, but failed to consider thst Hagoromo's manipulation of YinYang release was stated to give rise to all things in the universe.
I think a big thing here is that the 10 tails compensates for one of the main weaknesses of chakra: its limit. Naruto and the others did run out of chakra during fights. Or sage chakra in Naruto's case. But the beast removes that problem. Meanwhile Vader has nothing to help or adjust for the trouble his suit gives him.
And overuse of the Force can kill jedi and sith, so Obito could have just stalled until Vader either exhausted himself or died from Force overuse.

My Favorite of the season so far, DevilArtemis and SXR123 did an Amazing job with the Animation, I really want to listen to the soundtrack on it's own, the Writing was Great with how the characters bounce off eachother, and both Voice Actors did a Phenomenal job voicing the characters
They also severely downplayed obitos power and physical stats by comparing his speed with KCM1 naruto. Obito was facing individuals substantially superior to KCM1 naruto by the time he became the 10 tails jinchuriki during the war.
And Obito was MFTL by many times, if not hundreds of times. based off a few calculations, but also his strength would be above that of Vader's, atleast what was shown in the anime, vs the SW Comics
They did that so the fight could last long enough to be interesting. By all acounts, SpongeBob vs SF Aquaman should've ended faster than the eye can track, yet it lasted several minutes.
Don't forget that they could have scaled Vader even higher to Obi Wans level. Not at all saying Vader should have won, but I think both could be scaled even higher than the feats they performed on their own!
@@dogzilla0578 I am not so much talking about the feats they displayed in the animated fight itself but rather the information they gave before and after. After words they literally said Obito and Vader were about on par when it came to physicals but they scaled obito in general to narutos lowest war arc form even though he fought a naruto that was far stronger and faster later on.
I am well aware they could have scaled Vader to be stronger as well but based on the vader they used I am more so just pointing out how they actually kind of went easy on vader here.

And to answer your Question. Vader has clear counters to both of those. For one, The force can Legitimately Negate and Defend against truth Seeking Orbs due to the fact that The force is Quite literally a More Powerful and Higher scale of Senjutsu. And as For soul Manipulation, Vader straight up was Sent to an Alternate realm in The dark Dimension comic. Where He was trapped in his Astral from... In which, A Universe comprised of the dark side Attempted to Destroy And/or Assimilate Vader's Soul into it. And failed. An Entire Dimensions worth of Infinite energy attempted to Absorb and later Destroy Vader's Soul, and Failed. Only forcing him out one it Revealed a Vision of Grandmaster Luke literally forcing him outwards.

Obi-Wan and Yoda lived to old age and died as seniors. Thus they appear as old geezer ghosts
Anakin died when he became a dark lord of the sith. Thus appearing as the young adult version of himself.
One could argue Anakin came back when he saved his son, something "classic" Vader would never do. So he should appear as his older self ("older" since he was in his 40s).

If only the whole Vader dies spoiler was never leaked then David Prowse would have not only been the one shown unmasked, but also as Anakin's ghost, but as it is Sebastian Stan is his ghost. Because if they had gone with your logic then Obi-Wan would look like Ewan McGregor and not Alec Guiness and the puppet Yoda instead would look like the cgi one from the prequels.
The ending was honestly tragic. Obito gave Vader peace before the end. Hell, i doutb Vader would wanna break free of the illusion
The thing about the Jedi way of life is that it makes no sense in our world… where the power of the Force isn’t a thing. The whole point of the Jedi way of life is to prevent attachments that could cause strong negative emotions that, through use of the Force, can lead someone to the Dark Side.
Anakin is exhibit A of what happens if that is allowed to happen.

I do think it does prove how powerful Vader is, that it really takes the tipp top in Naruto to take him down, and so ultimately he'd be almost as dangerous in this verse as he is in his own, only maybe a handful of people who could stand up to him. Those being
Naruto, Sasuke, final firm Obito and Madara, and most of that alien race (the weaker ones its debatable). But pretty much everyone below them Vader could take to varying degrees, like 99% of the world would just die to him

It symbolizes the last time Anakin was a light side user. Dark force users can't become force ghost only leave a part of their spirit in an object similar to a poltergeist

These two are definitely very similar to each other. They both started off as heroes, became villains by a tragedy, almost died, got new bodies... then eventually died heroes.
When I first heard of this fight I was thinking how Vader who’s known for being slow as hell gonna fight a endgame Naruto villain character.
Hey at 11:40 anakin is his young self cuz that was the last time he was in the light side of the force that's why he is different from obi and Yoda cuz they died loyal to the light side when vader died he was consumed by the dark side for years and years so it makes sense that young Ani was added since he was still lightside when he looked like that

One or two flaws with this battle, they said Darth Vader can't use The Force in other dimension, there's a comics where he use The Force to open a portal to another dimension and there's God Vader who literally control all of Space and Time, they totally gloss over those facts that would of give Vader the win.
Popup: The Force does exist across dimensions, such as Hyperspace, but Kamui’s specifically disconnected from other realities and obviously not associated with the Star Wars universe, providing little reason to assume the force would exist within it.
And you mean a non-canon Darth Vader or temporary and unreachable again form.
The thing is that the God Vader form is only something he can achieve under very specific circumstances, he can't just open up that portal all willy-nilly any time he wants, he needs to be in a specific location to access it, so it doesn't make sense to give him this form in a no prep-time fight on neutral ground.
Kamui deminsion is different tho its a social plane created by the owner so no there'd be no force. Here's the thing logically Vader wouldn't have the force in narutos world the force don't exist there but they handicapped this by giving Vader a chance.

@@SuperMandibleclaw no it isn't, sure, it took him a while to get everything necessary to achieve the form, but once he had all the prep done he could quite literally use it anytime he wanted, no matter the time or place, on the other hand, Vader's spirit form, even with all the prep done, still required him to be in a specific place to achieve, and it wouldn't be fair to have the fight take place in that area since the fight must take place in neutral ground, otherwise, they'd be biased towards Vader.

Compare Obito and Kakashi: Obito operating at his maximum potential, meaning he has the Ten Tails, puts him on a level that Kakashi has no chance of competing with, and even gaining both Mangekyō Sharingan eyes from Obito's spirit/chakra doesn't make him Ten Tails level.

@@KidCypherTV Correct. Kakashi and Obito were fighting in the Kamui dimension at the same time that Sasuke was trying to use Amaterasu to outright kill the Ten Tails. It is after that battle where Obito returns to the real world and then absorbs the Ten Tails into himself.
Obito was holding his own against Kakashi, Guy and Naruto. He only "lost" to Kakashi in order to rid off the Curse Tag Madara had on him. And Jubito in a whole nother level
