Legendary. Newspaper says she swam beneath the golden gate bridge, across santa monica bay, santa Catalina to palos verdes, around Manhattan, ireland to Scotland and Spain to Africa. Now she is the first person to swim from the mainland to the farallones. Awesome.
Congratulations Amy. My late grandfather planned, and helped Dave Scott and several other highly talented tri athletes and swimmers compete in the first Farralones Challenge in 1987 from the Northeast Farralon to the Bay. His name was Phillip Hunter, and he too was a SERC member.
Way to Amy! Inspiring!😁😁
