This sailing channel is hard core. Exploring jungles and wearing ring worm like a badge of honor, making their own moon shine and sharing it with the locals while singing John Denver half way across the world. So cool. Hell, National Geographic has nothing on these guys. You won't see footage like that on any other channel.
Every Video you guys produce seems to be better than the last. I cant believe you aren't being followed by some professional video crew with full production support. Just AMAZING how they all come out. How have you not been discovered and put on TV is a wonder. Keep it up!!!
+Glen Pedersen OH wow Glen very cool! Sailing is still sailing but the navigation technology has come a very long way. Sometimes I feel like we're cheating.... Fair Winds! Brian
+Sailing SV Delos cheers. Your not cheating your utilizing technology just like those that had the sextant at their time. Must be awesome. I still remember my dad doing all the calculations by hand and I brought a Texas Instruments calculator to help him speed things up. All the best to you and your crew.
This is some of the most beautiful coral ecosystems I have ever seen, and I am an advanced open water diver that has dove many reef systems. I love the way you edit your video's. Please keep the video's coming!
@William Baynes hate to be the bearer of bad news but most reefs are a pale shadow of what they were in the 80s these days. real shame, finding a reef like this these days is super rare
WOW... I'm really impressed how your videos are turning out. Just think how nice it's going to be when you get older and have these videos to show your families. You are all living a dream. GOOD sailing my friends. Be safe. Love ya all.
rollin coomer Hey cool rollin, thanks so much for that! It really means a lot to us. I think about that as well, just how cool it's going to be to look back 30 years from now and see all the crazy stuff we did! Fair Winds, and thanks for watching! Brian S/V Delos
We lived aboard a Columbia 26 MKII for 15 years. Lost her in Hugo, found her again. Began fixing her up, but inertia set in. Sigh. Love your videos. Thanks! S/V Frabjous Day, Charleston, SC
As a lifelong West Virginia hillbilly, I have to say that it cracks me up that remote south seas islanders are singing our song! Who would have thunk it?
A really beautiful sailing spot and Breeyawn is so calm in the face of engine and equipment failure. I smile as the crew go ashore to dinner in moldy clothing. Phoebe proves to be an extremely talented singer. The bird of paradise is glorious. The diving is spectacular. A really enjoyable video.
A little late posting to this video but I am very impressed with your attitudes about everything. It seems no matter what comes your way you all find the positive in the situation and press on. I love that. Happy sailing~
***** Thanks Ted! We figure as long as the boats still floating life is pretty chill! Not too much to complain about really.... Thanks for watching! Brian S/V Delos
Thank you to the awesome crew of the Delos. Awesome captain. Awesome crew. Awesome boat. And I wouldn't be too concerned about getting turned away at the door if you have Karin, Josje and Phoebe with you. Phoebe was spectacular.
Phoebe played and sang awesome!! it's snowing here (canada, shore of lake ontario near niagra falls) you're videos will help me through another craptacular winter. Thank you all so much God bless you safe and happy sailing
Im re-watching this video again and it was some of the best dive footage you ever did. That was just a beautiful spot in general. The girls even looked more amazing if thats even possible.
This is not just a great video in terms of editing and displaying aquatic life, it’s also a spectacular video displaying human life! This is the first video that I have seen so far including plenty of the movies ahead of this one, that show that there are humans on board with emotional needs. I don’t doubt they exist, but it is nice to see them in action namely Brady and Josje’s seemingly developing relationship. I’m not referring to the nudity which as pleasurable as it may be a voyeuristically it’s much nicer to see intimacy such as a what they exhibited as they swung on the bench. Throughout the entire series I have not seen hardly any such interaction between Bryan and his now beautiful wife, Kaza or Karin . (Kind of confused with all the names.). The traveling, the sailing, the adventures are great, but the humanity of the entire project is the electricity that drives us to watch you. It would be nice to see a bit more, not a lot, just a bit more of the way you interact with each other. I wish I could’ve written this years ago when you started this adventure!
This is the most beautiful portion of your trip ever! To see that coral and all the fish.....what an amazing place. A lesson on being gentle to our spaceship :) And thanks for the postcard.......I enjoy dreaming with you guys!!!
quite nice and full of life all the sailing and adventures u guys do, is priceless, like life... Of course its evident that u allways need a balance between the civilization and the complexity of society, and the nature with its ways....
I really wish I had made the same decision you made when I was your age Brian, I truly enjoy your videos. I did most of my sailing on the Northumberland Strait on the north coast of Nova Scotia where the the water hits 72 degrees in the summer and I have also done some sailing off Halifax, NS. If I was younger and had no family, I might have taken you up on your offer of a crew position. I wish all of you the best and fair winds, what an adventure. Cheers
***** Hey Frank, I really think the life kind of chose me in a way..... I just felt pulled to go and see some of the world. And now it's turned into more than I ever could have imagined. Too cool! Wow, that really sounds like a spectacular place. The tropics are awesome, but I really enjoyed sailing in the Pacific North West also so sure I'd love it around your place! Fair Winds, and thanks for watching :) Brian S/V Delos
What an unbelievable video. I was astounded by the color and the composition. The turtle eating the coral was so detailed and full of texture that it gave me the chills to watch. Without doubt first rate videography. Thank you for sharing this. I really look forward to each of your videos!!!
Sweet man, really glad to hear our investment in a some new cameras is paying off! It's really our pleasure so thanks so much for watching, and especially taking the time to leave a comment :) Fair Winds- Brian S/V Delos
Renee Mineart Thanks so much Renee! Glad to hear you enjoy the videos and think Patreon is a good idea. If all works out well we'll be able to focus more time and energy on this project :) Fair Winds, and thanks for watching! Brian S/V Delos
Great video. The underwater shots were incredible. Phoebe's smile and laugh is contagious, the song she performed was really good, great voice, we truly enjoyed that. Thanks.
I absolutely envy y'all guys. Im indonesian and i love travelling, but still have not had a chance to visit raja ampat. i wish i could do what you did. Keep posting the video.
Amazing underwater footage! Usually I skip diving scenes on cruising vlogs, because they are so boring, but this was almost like straight from Cousteau films. Great job!
I havn t seen any coral bleaching. Looks absolutely amazing. My heart just hurts at all the bleaching going on around the globe. It's a true testimony to globular warming
Wow. The color on the dive videos was the best yet. Amazing. I've always wished someone would install a webcam on the seafloor. Hope to see it in person someday! Really enjoying the addition of your drone footage. I have a Phantom 3 Standard and really enjoy it. The perspective it gives is special and just perfect for what you are doing.
That was better than an episode of Sea Hunt. Great UW footage. Being good, self-sufficient scuba divers adds such a great dimension to "The Adventures of SV Delos".
***** Hey Tiki, very cool, thanks so much for the comment. We basically just film what we are up to, so if it happens we put it in there! Fair Winds, Brian S/V Delos
S/V N2deep Oh man, unfortunately no.... It turned out to be the mechanical seal on the coolant pump. Which means a new pump, and pretty much removing the entire front of the engine (including timing belt) Not something to tackle at sea..... Thanks for watching, and Fair Winds. Brian S/V Delos
You guys are making the most awesome art!! This stuff is the shitnitza! Phoebe Leyton what a Voice! Thanks for taking the time to make these so brilliant - today is my birthday and what a great way to end to a great day for me thanks guys!!
These just keep getting better and better Brian! I really do prefer the longer ones like this too. Looking for ward to the next episode guys. :) Cheers, Ian.
ianBeer123 Right on Ian, thanks for the feedback. We have been getting lot's of positive comments about the editing style so that's good to hear! Fair Winds, and thanks so much for watching! Brian S/V Delos
These words are over used but amazing awesome video guys, it's great to see coral & fish schools not screwed up by us, it has to be hard to pull away from such beautiful locations, I know your in Hollywood, FL. now, thanks for sharing
Dougyelnats Yea, the marine life in this area is just so incredible. It's really the center of the coral triangle! We felt very lucky to have spent so much time there :) Fair Winds, and thanks for watching. Brian S/V Delos

This may be the single best video on TH-cam ever. It embodies exactly what this platform was made for. Well done guys!
So many people at work cynicly say "living the dream". They have no idea. Love these videos!
Every Video you guys produce seems to be better than the last. I cant believe you aren't being followed by some professional video crew with full production support. Just AMAZING how they all come out. How have you not been discovered and put on TV is a wonder. Keep it up!!!
I'm in WV, wow pretty cool seeing them sing the song. I remember doing it many times deployed overseas. :)
That was awesome. Did what your doing 30 plus years ago. Glad to see the love of the passage lives on. Good on ya mates and dates
+Glen Pedersen OH wow Glen very cool! Sailing is still sailing but the navigation technology has come a very long way. Sometimes I feel like we're cheating.... Fair Winds! Brian

German here, it's definitely a well-known song everywhere in Europe as well
Its very popular here in Indonesia, especially for those from the 90s era
Hahahahaha 😂😂😂😂
That's so funny to me too. Yeah that's good song. I found out about that song thanks to Fallout 76.
good music has no boundaries....
The Vibe on those older vids is something special.
You guys are the real definition of Living the Dream!!!
Raj Ampat - bucket list place to go for sure! Amazing reefs and fish. Simply beautiful!
How much talent can you put on one boat it's amazing
Thank you very much for your coming

just getting lost in re-watching the amazing Tautman boys and crew doing filming magic! Whoo Hoo!! Great use of the word "pelagic" by the Brady.

magentawave Yes. There are a few good spots the locals will ride.
magentawave There is a beach to the east of Halifax called Lawrencetown where people surf on the rollers from the Atlantic.
