New one looks ridiculous and will be riddled with faults, just like any new car. Only idiots who want the latest shiny buy a new car as soon it is released!

Old air vents in UK ?

Good catch, almost missed that. So it would seem. I guess it's because they didn't want to spend extra money for an all new mold (different from the one used in left hand drive dashes). The "new" airvents and dash you see in the 2023 Dacia Duster for left hand drive markets are actually "recycled" from the Latin market Renault Duster 2019. So it didn't const them anything to bring them to the 2023 European Dacia Duster. This facelift will only be selling for about a year anyways, in 2024 a new gen will come out.

I prefer the three in the middle, rear passengers have more chance of air con cooling them down as I’ve found out

    Hi Chris. Greetings from turkey.
Is it possible to find Duster in UK dealers right now?
We have to wait 3-4 months in Turkey.
I'm thinking of getting the "Journey" package. I have never driven a tce engine before. What do you think about this engine?

Hi act . Hope your well . Yeah we have a few on stock but just for show around the same waiting time as yourself . The engine is ok for what it is they have definitely upgraded alot from the last version of the duster looks and performance is far better.

      Hi Act.
We were told we'd have to wait 6 months so no better here in the UK. Am expecting mid February if there are no more holdups?
      Good luck to you!

@@THMark66 Got it mate. If I don't get it in early February it will be mid-April. Of course, then the price will increase even more. Because this is Turkey. :/ "People are crushed by heavy taxes and inflation"

I like this new Duster and your no commentary presentation. I have to say it's definitely not *all* new though, it's just a facelift afterall. It has a new grille, logo and interior airvents and that's mostly it.

I know its a cheap vehicle... I get that, and its great for what it is.. but I just know it would look so much better if they had just put some plastic wheel arch protectors. The bare arches just look awful, especially with the plastic protection around the sides and front. It just looks like they have been left off.
Also - they have done a EU wide release of this and the air vents are small rectangular style on that one.. I actually prefer the round ones but I wonder why we have only a half updated one..
I know.. you only sell them.... 😂😂

    • @mihnealazar7039
      @mihnealazar7039 ปีที่แล้ว

In the EU you can get plastic protection wheel arches as an accessory when you configure your car. Maybe it's the same in the UK and most people simply don't bother doing that. I think the reason for which the UK 2023 Dacia Duster has the old vents is because it would require all new molds for the dash and vents (I know the dash looks the same as the 2018 one but it's actually slightly different in the airvent area) which would cost them sole money. For the EU version they implemented them because (believe it or not) these "new" dash and airvents are actually recycled from the 2019 Latin market Renault Duster (which is left hand drive as well) so they didn't have to make any new molds. For the UK they should've made some new molds and they didn't want to spend the money. This model will only sell for one year anyways, new model will be out in 2024.

Not that cheap anymore, looking at easy 20k plus for one in a decent spec and colour. Great cars however
