Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York (1959) was the wife of Prince Andrew, Duke of York , the second son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. She is the mother of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie of York.
She was the friend of Lady Diana, who introduced Sarah to her future husband.
After the divorce, Sarah was able to create her own life anew. And now she is a writer, charity patron , public speaker, film producer and television personality.
She and Prince Andrew remained close friends, very close friends. Their relationship remains a mystery to the world press.

I respectfully disagree. While the girls seem to have grown up to be decet people, I can't agree that Fergie was being a good mother while she committed adultery in front of them, or when she left them with nannies while she went on her many vacations. I think the girls grew up good in spite of her and not because of her mothering.
It was so long ago but wonderful to see how young they were. Prinses Di always the lady and a real prinses and Fergie just her natural self. Thanks for the memories. 🎀

I always loved her wedding dress. And even though this lady has had some real trouble down through the years keeping herself pulled together, it's got to say something for her that her kids still adore her and she's still very close to her ex.

Even now, Andrew's wedding seems more special and lavish than Harry's and the queen looks so happy. What in the world possessed them to divorce when irs obvious they were still in love? I can remember their getting married being a big deal, he was so cute and she was so lively. He might marry her after his father dies.

The biggest mistake Sarah ever made was her pact with Diana. Diana was not the friend to Sarah she made out to be! Diana was hurting and she hurt her good friend through that hurting.
