Yes, we have a tendency to use the present continuous to talk about future plans. Is your first language Spanish? There are some situations where you use simple present in Spanish, but we tend to use present continuous in English. For example, "Me voy" in English is "I'm leaving." I plan to make a more detailed lesson about the differences between these two tenses soon! 😊

It depends on the context. If you say “I don’t disagree, but…” it could mean that you only agree with some aspects of the other person’s opinion.
