Y’all said he was going to instantly be better than fields so we aren’t gonna play this he’s a rookie garbage cause he was supposed to be better than a vet if he is not then that evaluation was dead wrong if Justin was here bears would be undefeated. Between his legs and his ability to do what he did with Moore across three receivers and this defense they would definitely be undefeated and would have had even more resources
Shady says he would rather have a QB be bad in his first couple years as long as he has a good career yet he always bashing Tua for his first 2 years in the league. Josh Allen was awful his first 2 years in the league then they got him a coach, traded for Stefon Diggs and he became the Josh Allen we know today. Miami followed the same plan, got Tua a coach, traded for Tyreek Hill and you see the improvement. By the 3rd-4th year you want to see improvements in your QB but sadly in todays NFL everyone wants to move from QB to QB if they struggle early on.
#1 pic Young is getting more respect in year 2 than CW after NFL game 2. CW (hot topic) is like Lebron, a polarizing figure. Doubters and JF fans will spin it negatively, no matter what! Bears have a good defense and when top brass matches it with a good oline, makes offensive wise play calls and when coaches train a rookie QB (with generational potential), Bears will be contenders! CW will maximize his generational talent wherever he plays. Now on Sunday, with more offensive effort, CJ would be 1 and 1.
A great deal? You're about to give the bears a 4th round pick if he plays over 60% of the snaps. Are the Steelers ready to overpay a QB that is extremely mediocre when the time comes?
@@MoneyLinez so you're going from "a great deal" to now it's "reasonable" lol. If it's a 4th rounder for the bears it's a pretty even trade. Now the circumstances that the Steelers will soon be in is if they want to pay fields 100s of millions to be their full time QB. As of right now, he's not showing hes worth that money. Offense has 1 TD on the year lol. This was the predicament the bears were in. Either go after Williams who's a highly graded QB out of college or overpay for mediocracy. Worse case scenario the bears just have another fields on their hands.
Caleb had so much hype because of CJ Stroud, the expectation was… “If CJ could be that good as a rookie on that team, Caleb would be twice as good as a rookie based on his college resume and the talent they are surrounding him with”
We've been provided with the answer. No. He's nowhere close to Stroud. NOWHERE. He was hyped as someone who was gonna smash CJ's numbers. He's NOT a first ballot hall of famer. The Bears ain't going to the Super Bowl either this year.
A winning season is realistic if Williams and the line are better than last year's combination wild card is possible anything more expected is unrealistic hype.
He looked great in preseason because he wasnt getting the NFL's best at the time. Now he is facing vets. He'll get it together. He needs to be humble, take any advice thats going to lift him up, and pay attention to what's happening in the organization around him. Look at what happened to Fields in that organization. I think thats what Stroud was trying to stress to him. You're great, its in you, don't let them tear that down.
Man, the media acted ugly last year, from national to home. ESPN Chicago wrote love letters to Caleb towards the end of the season. Danny Parkins used Justin's Jersey to make a Caleb jersey before the season was over, and oh, Shady and Acho, how could I forget you? Don't switch up now. As a Bears fan, I want them to get better but it's also to see how quick the media and some fans got humbled as well.
Tough honest take from a Bears fan: our defense isn't elite, like most "elite defenses" we beat up on weak QBs. I went back and looked, Sam Howell, Bryce Young, Jared Goff, Will Levis, Desmond Ridder, Kyler Murray, Josh Dobbs, Brian Hoyer.... those the QBs the Bears beat since last year as a team and as a defense dating back to the beginning of 2023. Two of those qbs I listed are currently starters in the nfl. Is that coincidence? Luck of the draw? Or was our team beating terrible QBs? Did we have an elite defense in our 0-4 start? Okay. I hate that saying this as a bears fan but we all need a reality check.
This was my biggest issue with everyone that was hyping him. Everything he was going to do this year. Nick Wright even had the Bears going to the Super Bowl because of Caleb. Once he isn’t able to match the hype excuses came up. If it was just that he had the skill set that could make him really good I don’t think people would be so critical of him. It’s the way these professionals analysts and fans put Caleb in Canton before he ever played a game is what makes everyone critical of him.
MAN ACHO @11:30 in this clip, i was super impressed you pulling out that 358 yards during his second game of his rookie season for cj stroud, then i looked it up and it was 384. The confidence was VERY believable lol, closed your eyes and everything! Keep up the great show :)

Respectfully Chase, you are wrong. Caleb needs to be under center because the quick pass games is what teams are willing to give the Bears. Take what the defense gives.
Shady just disrespected how amazing bakers rookie year was… most touchdowns thrown in a rookie season 27 almost 4k yards went from 0-16 to 7-8 baker slander is crazy
The concern is that we haven’t seen any glimpse of greatness. It’s obviously fine to be making a lot of mistakes as a rookie, but we haven’t seen a wow play in two games.
To be fair, Caleb could have 2 passing TDs if Keenan and Rome didn’t drop the catches that hit them right in the hands. Also Keenan could have scored again but the Center got pancaked and the DT blocked the pass.

Nick Van Exel from first things first said he was top 10 before he got drafted. So he should living up to it now
Theres still 15 games in the season guys, calm TF down😂
I don’t blame Caleb Williams for the hype he got, I blame the media for making him seem like he was the next Patrick Mahomes.
Caleb praised himself like he is too. Don’t forget that.
& the crazy part is media didn’t Even know who Patrick mahomes was 😂😂 coming out the draft now they all act like they just knew he was the best
@@manolopmbMy older brother knew Patrick Mahomes was coming out of college because he watched Patrick Mahomes his freshman year in college I believe.
@@manolopmb bears fans like myself knew who he was because we were begging for him in most mock drafts. Instead the media hyped trubisky and the rest is history
Ever since Mahomes 2018 season where he threw for 5097 yards 50TDs 12ints, the media has been trying to find the next Mahomes.
lol Brady had 50TDS and 8 ints in 07
@@yrnsebastian7873 The difference is Tom didn’t throw for 5,000 yards that season and he also had Randy Moss.
@@yrnsebastian7873Brady was in yr 7. Mahomes did that his first full season as a starter. And it was only his second season.
@@LeetraviusMcKay-q6m I’m getting cooked in these comments y’all all right I’m just a Brady fan😭
@@LeetraviusMcKay-q6m mahomes had tyreke, the greatest te ever and the greatest offensive coach ever. What are you talking about 😂 both qbs are great
The hype around caleb NEVER made sense..... HES NOT THAT GUY. You can see it in the interviews. On the field... other QBs have bad Olines. STOP THE EXCUSES. Hes A JAG.
Thank you. I never fell for they hype. Caleb is too mentally soft to be great in this league. We've already seen it.
The one quarterback that had so much hype around him was Johnny manziel and look how that turned out and Johnny to me is a better college quarterback than Caleb Williams in my opinion
I wonder how many games it’ll take for them to realize bears shoulda kept fields
I love the aura of this show when they actually break down the plays to back their opinions
It’s almost like anyone who has even a little football knowledge said Justin wasn’t the problem it’s the whole team in general
No O line and mid Wr
It’s been TWO games. Everybody needs to relax
25 has been backing up lately. Can't believe it. Last year when fields was qb he was riding the caleb train talking how much better the team would be with caleb. Now it's rookie this rookie that give him time. I said then he is a lesser fields and fields has wins and looking solid.
This show was ready to give him a hall of fame jacket after them preseason games 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is why I don’t take the preseason seriously.
No we are supposed to see Mahomeboy 2.0. He has to do at least what CJ did his first year. Now people wanna down play it.
Baker also set the rookie Td record. No one seems to bring that up.
Yeah but he is a decent QB. People seem to have this idea that if a QB isn’t winning the Super Bowl in his 3rd year, he’s a bust.
because herbert broke it like one year later...........but who cares reallly
Caleb reminds me of a Tony Romo
Because he also threw 15 interceptions on a team that sucked.
@@AHMAD-2324 He didn't start the season as QB1. He did not play until week 3. If they played him game 1 they make the playoffs.
Caleb wasn't the best QB drafted turn on the tape that kid In Atlanta is better
He may develop eventually. Hopefully he does. But many people called him the next mahomes lololololol. That was obviously lunacy
Boy...I just love Shady...he cracks me up and he makes sense.😂😂
They’re having this discussion like it’s week 12 it’s been 2 games literally
Caleb Williams got a major wake-up call in the first two games... Caleb needs to understand that most of what he did in college will not fly in the NFL.. LOL but, i'll give him the benefit of the doubt... after all, even Mahomes sat out his rookie season before blowing up in his second season... so, lets give Caleb a chance... THIS season Caleb gets a pass.. a rookie training ground.. lets see what he does... Caleb certainly has the talent AND tremendous potential...
Exactly! People freaking out after TWO games! If he is no better next year though, it’ll be time to cut our losses.
@@joeydoherty368The thing is he said “Even Mahomes sat out rookie season before blowing up his second season”
The fact that we have a show with guys who played the game talking ball is the best thing since sliced bread!!!!!
I like the team hoodies yall repping. Most shows can't do this 🔥
That Green Bay jack is so clean
Patrick Maholms played 1 game his Rookie season awful, his 2nd year he threw 50TDs, 11-Interseptions, threw for over 4500yds, no one can even come close to Patrick, everyone was comparing Caleb to Patrick Maholms🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
Thank you Daniel’s for keeping it real Caleb has everything he needs.
McCoy don't back track now
Shhh 🤫 just let him dig his own hole deeper.
Best thing about the situation is Caleb can struggle and develop and play and still be winning games. This team can win
If you listen to the media, Caleb Williams is the next big thing. Like James Jones said "HOF Throws" in the preseason lol.
good point on situation, Chase
Caleb has thrown 3 to passes. The receivers dropped them. Not his fault
So glad we got Justin Fields for a great deal in Pittsburgh.
Probably 1 and a half seasons
@@VvVT734 more like 3-5yrs for around $50M
A great deal? You're about to give the bears a 4th round pick if he plays over 60% of the snaps.
Are the Steelers ready to overpay a QB that is extremely mediocre when the time comes?
@@notchocheese-ce7ue What do you mean ? We just wasted a 1st rd pick on Kenny Pickett. So a 4th is reasonable.
The “chills” head shake from shady in beginning made me feel normal
Shady was the #1 Caleb glazer sayin he was gonna take the league by storm but now all of a sudden it’s “he’s a rookie”
Caleb had so much hype because of CJ Stroud, the expectation was… “If CJ could be that good as a rookie on that team, Caleb would be twice as good as a rookie based on his college resume and the talent they are surrounding him with”
This is a GREAT show
Shady big mad 😂😂
Career Backup QB take is hilarious 😂
Nah fr
No take. Just truth
This dynamic is great such a great show I can’t wait to see the show in three months. I do miss Joy feel bad actually.
Its ONLY been 2 games! He'll be fine. The Oline needs to definitely play better though.
One thing Chicago doesn't have is coaches. We have seen it multiple times a group of talented players with bad coaches fail
Now they saying Caleb wasn’t expected to win 😂. If you the greatest you win
It’s the way these professionals analysts and fans put Caleb in Canton before he ever played a game is what makes everyone critical of him.
im diggin the hoodies
Shady trying to Save Face, you said he was going to ball out and was a No Brainer and better than a lot of starters right now.
MAN ACHO @11:30 in this clip, i was super impressed you pulling out that 358 yards during his second game of his rookie season for cj stroud, then i looked it up and it was 384. The confidence was VERY believable lol, closed your eyes and everything! Keep up the great show :)
Shady coming with the mature takes.
SHADY WHERE IS THAT ENERGY YOU AND JOY WAS GIVING?!!???!?!! Yall blamed 100 percent of how bad the Bears was doing on Justin Fields, now Caleb is a rookie and we just need to give him time. Tf out of here. Yall was knob sobbing his pre season plays.
Respectfully Chase, you are wrong. Caleb needs to be under center because the quick pass games is what teams are willing to give the Bears. Take what the defense gives.
Shady ain't bringing that Justin Fields energy
Because then he would have to admit he was wrong about being a hypocrite towards Justin Fields.
Shady just disrespected how amazing bakers rookie year was… most touchdowns thrown in a rookie season 27 almost 4k yards went from 0-16 to 7-8 baker slander is crazy
In my opinion the world gets to see how bad that line in Chicago actually is Justin was running for his life last year
The concern is that we haven’t seen any glimpse of greatness. It’s obviously fine to be making a lot of mistakes as a rookie, but we haven’t seen a wow play in two games.
They the ones who gassed him up, he has to prove himself like everyone else does. There’s been numerous Qbs who went #1 overall and didn’t pan out.
Shady wasn’t talking like this before the season 😅
To be fair, Caleb could have 2 passing TDs if Keenan and Rome didn’t drop the catches that hit them right in the hands. Also Keenan could have scored again but the Center got pancaked and the DT blocked the pass.
Chase’s take was logical and super well thought out. I can’t find a rational, emotionless argument against his take.
This is why I can’t stand the media. They hype up a player and then when he’s playing bad in his rookie season for the first two games, they say he’s a bust
