The thumbnail really encapsulates the delightful cheesiness of the 80’s. But what’s it advertising? 03:24 Of course! Registering for the 🎵Poooost Office! Post Office!🎵😅
2. ???- Judging from the look of the split second scene that was shown, I would say those two guys were about to play a card game or about to have a serious discussion. Nestle Toll House Morsels- There’s something so satisfying watching the time lapse photography of the cookies baking at 12:48. Friskies-The Music from The Nutcracker Suite playing throughout this commercial adds to the playful atmosphere with the kittens, I think.
3:24 - If these guys can make going to the post office to sign up for selective service this awesome, they could sell me on anything. Hell, they could probably convince me to join a death cult with these kind of grooves.
I'm loving the low budget aesthetic of this entire station's presentation! Right down to the film glitch! That voting PSA with Kojak is worn and dated for 1984! I paused to see and it looks like 1964 possibly. But that Selective Service PSA! I remember a similar one with different music that was on WPIX in New York every morning! Yeah it's definitely memorable and stuck in the 80s forever!
Post Office will be put to shame if you can get the breakdance PSA expounding the virtues of CHI-RO-PRAC-TIC. Best PSA ever! Regarding the Statue of Liberty-who is the guy doing the voice? That guy must’ve done every educational film, PSA, and commercial of my youth. I’d love to hire him to do my voicemail.
yooooo! the selective service PSA! the man doing the voiceover was Sid McCoy -- Director, Actor, Radio presenter and longtime voice/announcer for Soul Train.
Years later Washington state would become the birthplace of Grunge which would sadly destroy the 80s look and sound! But thanks to things like Stranger Things and the 80s resurgence, the 80s are back and better than ever!
??? -guess he was about to discuss whatever happened this past week Take A Bite Out Of Crime-Jenny's parents hopefully will be driving her to and from school from now on Selective Service-these guys shouldve made an appearance in Breakin 2 Electric Boogaloo WKRP In Cincinnati-@8:49-Herb"..and those things were..?" Sunday Premiere Movie-maybe opening the door is what caused that glitch Barney Miller-his mother WAS the lawyer Cougar Highlights '84-name sounds like it could be the title of one of those comedies in the style of Porky's,Private Lessons,My Tutor etc..(trailer announcer"..Talk about experienced reviews! Rated R.")😆 Safety Belt PSA-the first two occupations definitely aren't worth dying for The All New Let's Make A Deal-Monty Hall > Wayne Brady ??? b) -that guy knew too much.. 😱 Office Of Child Support Enforcement-those other two..wonder if their dads showed up
The Selective Service “ Post Office “ PSA, you could tell, Micheal Jackson was the hottest entertainer in ‘84, and his influence was everywhere . You wanted sound like him, dance like him, or like here, at least look like him 😄..
And these guys were so lucky their generation didn't end up being called up in a draft for a war...the ad makes it sound like Selective Service registration was "no big deal"...Sure, no big deal, you're just registering so they can pull your name and force you to fight and possibly die in a war! It's easy! Just ask your local Vietnam vet!
@@80sCommercialVault LOL! No problem. I was just curious, considering every time you upload a video that has a cat commercial (or a cat in a commercial) in it, I always say "Kitty!" (there, I said it again). What can I say? I'm a crazy cat lady (emphasis on the crazy)
3:28 Honestly, all I will probably remember from this commercial is the inherent coolness of the POOOOST OFFICE!
14:39 - Here’s the time stamp for the cute cat commercial. You’re welcome.
Thank you! The adorable cats are rocking out to Tchaikovsky’s Trepak (Russian Dance) from The Nutcracker. So cute.

People were happier during the 80’s. At least on TV.
10:58- the size difference is palpable. Rest in peace to both.
1:07 - I know that mascot is supposed to be Rip Van Winkle, but it looks more like a long-dead leprechaun packing heat…
Thought we were kings when mom and dad got their waterbed in the 80s. I begged for one too
I'm pretty sure the copyright date on that Telly Savalas spot *was* 1964.
At this resolution, difficult to say for certain. The age of the film and overall style would certainly suggest it.
I hope Amy found an organ donor and got a kidney transplant (1:40)

18:18- that milk ad was a bit, shall I say it, over the top 😅

Do you have the prego commerical with Clara?
No, but it can be seen here: th-cam.com/video/3kZejc2-h_s/w-d-xo.html
@@80sCommercialVault thanks
Judging by what you wrote in you description of the Friskies commercial, trying to beat me to it?
Didn't mean to step on your paws there.
