@@i_ntelHistory shows anniversary events aren't good enough to retain good player counts or create a cycle of new players. Even big regions see the same people a lot
they have the best change during Covid but due to horrible management / balance / people quit alot during that time most of my friend quit during Broken Greedent they left untouch for almost 2 month
The only good that timi can do would be to hand over development to a more competent and less predatory studio/publisher.
agreed, unite and pokemon go. both have potential to go on for a long time...just have to level up to what is expected of it.
Is there a single Pokémon release in the past decade that hasn't been disappointing? Not unfun or unplayable, but like, undercooked. All I can think of are the animated shorts. I don't know that card game at all, so maybe that's fine too.

I'm not so much fed up with the game, I'm fed up with the playerbase. Toxicity, idiots, and trolls really put a damper on the game. Was pretty good at everything but mew, and all that skill don't account for much. You have an idiot with a point and click that can counter a freaking Zoroark by repeatedly zapping it with cc. Even with full heal and illusions i-frames, the CC just keeps coming.
I mean, LOL has the worst database ever, in any comparaison from any games. It still one of the most play. The problem come from the matchmaking, not the toxicity.
Your other points about balancing are pertinent, but not game breaking. If you don't play always the same thing (and it's easy to learn most of the pokemon), you should be in the top half of the data base easily.
@@ft6840 I used to play just about everything. Doesn't matter what you play, if it's skill based, it's instantly countered by brainless idiocy. Plus your own teammates are also part of the problem.

@@ft6840 then explain a 64% win rate overall, 72% in ranked... And considering I was a demon with speedsters, yeah, I'd say I was a good player. Gyarados game I had, my idiot trio went 3 supporters, so I had to go damage. Otherwise we were screwed. It was by pure skill and luck we won that game, because the comfey was stuck to the Eldegoss the entire match, and the elde couldn't even aim a pollen puff. So I had to 2v5 the entire team against a Metagross, Ceruledge, and a freaking play rough mimikyu. End results, elde healing a whopping 21k, the comfey not even getting any assists, and the Hoopa with 70k damage taken from feeding the enemy, 21k dealt. They couldn't even do a hyperspace hole or a unite properly. Meanwhile I'm the 140k damage 18 K.o. Gyarados. Against the trio I mentioned all having 10+ K.o.s with 100k+ damage. Each. So tell me again, am I not supposed to be tired of the doggone game? As a skilled player, I'm not seeing very many rewards for the effort put in.
A lot of my favourite Pokemons are very average or just bad right now, that's why I am not playing the game

More maps and mons. Maybe even in game taunt dances or something man idk. This game has so much potential but just like pogo the pvp feels like it’s still in beta
I am so bored and tired of unite. Ive been so stressed at carrying my entire team that I decided to have some fun and play some goal getter talonflame. Even though I was just primarily scoring and having fun, for some reason I ended up carrying my team with KOs and score getting mvp?! This is how I know unite has a problem. At my most unserious gameplay, I can win!?
I also want to keep supporting this game, but it's making it really hard to do so. Ranging from content droughts that go for 2-3 months along with a couple broken characters, to jank matchmaking giving teammates that are far out of your league and resulting in being more ill-fated towards humanity for almost 3 years.

I can't put a finger arround it that what I hate about the game its not me loosing the game atleast because I am casual play I play 2-3 games everyday collect daily rewards and then go off

The last two released were okay, fallinks is really strong, but it's not at the same level as things we've seen in the past.

Pokemon unite is his job.. He gets to play games for a living which is awesome! He's the number 1 solo Q player so I don't think he would even bother if he was bored.. Now maybe if he was only just playing against bots then yea that would be boring and extremely frustrating because you can't rely on your bot teammates and they do stupid stuff!
I wish we could simply blame timi, but it would be no better in the hands of pokemon compagnie.

Even though i played black white,x and y ,... Its always only animation you have to click a single button for attack but in unite i could use it aim it and all just like how i always liked to have
Its devs who still haven't fixed the matchmaking,no useful tutorials....

the game is ok but the rewards are boring. like putting a pika party even and you get a mcdonad holower and for the battle pass reward its good for new player to catch up for the held item. its like working hard for an event and you get a trash reward they are also slow on putting new held item and new emblem set.
Ya in dragon event they only gave 1k coin to the once who have all dragon mon
Unite is great, I understand that people hate the matchmaking and some other huge problems. But even with them, it stays a really cool game.
TIMI just needs to help the horrible database to learn how to play from the start.

I've played both and while I do like a lot of the stuff I've seen, I just prefer Unite more for the Pokemon recognition and shorter games personally.
