That's super cool. You have some great and helpful videos! I become a single father here recently and had to learn how to be a momma and still be the same working dad. And learn how to cook! And I've never been good unless it was outside on the BBQ pit. Thank you so much for your videos and feedback! That's helped me keep my baby's belly's full. Please share more.
I can't tell you enough how inspiring your comment is. I've never had one bring me to tears before. I started this channel hoping to make a little difference in sharing what I love to do. I've gotten away from the cooking part more than I should have. Sometimes life throws us some curve balls. Your comment has inspired me greatly. If there is ever anything in particular I can advise you on, my email is on the description page and description of each video. Please feel free to ask. I'm going to go through the pantry and see what I can come up with! Thank you very much my new friend. 🐻😋💕
I just made this and it was amazing-thanks for sharing the great explanation. Two to one ratio was a great tip- from a piano player new friend in the UK ❤️🎹
Thank you very much for your support. I sincerely appreciate it. Welcome to the family, my friend. I'm happy that you enjoyed the recipe. I hope your week is filled with happiness and health. 🐻🤗💕
Thank you so much for sharing how you cooked this in the instant pot. I’ve made this soup a million times on the stove top in a big ol pot. But never in the instant pot and it was intimidating. So thank you for showing me how you did yours it was a huge help! ♥️
Charity, thank you so much for your comments. It does my heart happy when I'm able to help someone get more comfortable with the instant pot. My grandmother used the old fashioned stove top pressure cooker. That thing scared me so much. Once I discovered the electric one I was off and running with it. I can't imagine not having it now. I really appreciate you letting me know how your doing with it. I'm glad I was able to be a little help. 🐻🍯💕
Thank you for sharing this yummy bean soup, we love bean soup love this twist going to try it soon.I love my instant pot it helps so much. Blessings my friend
Thank you for the tip on microwaving the stock first to bring it up quicker. ( I thought my Instant Pot wasn't working at first when it took so long to build up the pressure)! That looks delicious!!!
The way you speak reminds me so much of my grandma! I will have to try this recipe, it looks delicious. It will be a great way to break in my new instant pot!
I made a ham and bean soup, in my instant pot. Never soaked the beans, but did rinse them. It turned out very good and I. The plus side no gas, I was pleasantly surprised, lol
Linda, thank you very much for your reply! I'm truly happy that you were pleased with them. It's the only way I cook my beans now. I hope you have a great rest of the week. 🐻😋💕

Hi Mama! I’m catching up on episodes. Just subscribed to your channel a few weeks ago. Your a treasure! Oh! And thanks for subbing to my channel I’m truly honored. Thank you so very much for the wonderful comments and support! We both hate lima beans, can't stand that awful aftertaste! I think butter beans are the same thing, I'm not sure though. I grew up hearing them called that. My Grandma raised me to always eat everything that I was served and not be "picky" but I would always pick those out of soup and lay them in my lap, made a good treat for my dog...so they didn't get wasted! She never said anything about it but I'm sure she had to have known...she was awesome in so many ways. My Grandpa used to say the bean song too! I'm so thankful that I was raised by them. When you mentioned fried green maters my mouth watered! One of my favorite things in life!!😋 Thank you so much for sharing with me. It makes me truly happy when I see that my experiences and likes are also things others enjoy. I appreciate you my friend! 🐻🤗💕

@@mamat4514 yes you definitely can use any broth . I've used beef, vegetable, and even plain water. Thank you for the comment. I noticed it came in yesterday. My apologies for not getting back to you sooner...I was on the road. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas. 🐻🤗💕
I'm one of the people you talk about that's converting the recipe to crock pot so I appreciate the input on how to change things to accommodate crock pots. Some nice tips today I had never heard that about the oil keeping the beans from foaming that is valuable information and how to thicken I like that tip. Looking forward to seeing Christmas in Florida.
Thank's for watching Kentucky Girl. I appreciate the comments. I'm going to do more of hints and making suggestions for crockpots. Your comments help me know there's an interest in that. Even though the oil won't keep it from foaming, it lessens the amount of it. Just always remember still follow the guidelines for the fill lines on the pot in order to stay safe when using. If your pot doesn't have the fill lines, it's equal to half the size of the pot for beans, pasta etc. Any time you have any questions you only need to ask 😊. What would you think about maybe I start to write the crockpot recipe in the description since the IP one will be covered in the video?.😋🐻💕
@@MamaBearsCookingandAdventures that sounds like a good idea putting the Crock-Pot recommendations in the description box. I need basic cooking tips. I would like to improve my skills. When I was a young girl and my Mother and Grandmother were around I wasn't too interested in this stuff now that they're both gone and I'm middle aged and I believe I'm lacking in some skills. Okay I'll go ahead and tell you my funny story I went to the library to get a cooking book I brought it home opened it up on the table was working at it and it said to reduce something so I went and poured some of it out Haha I reduced it all right.
Awww 😂😂😂, you remind me of myself! Grandma taught me to cook. Very outdated by today's methods, I suppose. Getting used to the IP was like learning a second language. Then I realized I was getting in my own way. It's just a machine, I learned it's safety features and then I started applying what I know about cooking. If you don't mind me asking, what is your favorite way to cook? Crockpot, stovetop, baking, what makes you feel the most comfortable to create things with? For a wedding gift one of my coworkers gave me a " joy of cooking" cookbook. I wore the pages thin on that thing. I knew a lot from Grandma, but that book explained things I would never had thought to ask.
One time in a video that you did I thought I heard you say you married in Italian? I love Italian food. You asked how I most often cook. I have a big stock pot I use to make soups and beans and stews in. I frequently use a casserole dish. I use a Crock-Pot in the winter.
Yes, he's Italian. I'd be happy to share with you my homemade sauce (they call it gravy) and meatballs recipe. His mom taught me to make that. And I make eggplant parmesan that he says is the best he's ever had.😋 Reason I asked was it sounds like you might want to consider doing a cooking show with the crockpot since you are comfortable with it. Yea, there's a lot of cooks out here, but I'll tell you what Mr.Mtn.Man told me. There's always room for more, because we each have our own styles. I'd like to encourage you to think about doing it. I'm pretty sure you'd be happy you did once you get it going. 😋🐻💕
