I followed your recipe and it came out GREAT. Everyone in my family loved it. The best part was that it didn’t have any meat in it. I replaced tomatoes with dry mango powder and paprika/Chipotle by black pepper. Great job sharing the recipe. Thanks a lot.
I really like your recipe and all my family did too. I hate kale but when I put it in the soup it was very nice. Lovely hearty soup. Do you have a nice receipt with pinto beans.
Susana Rogers thanks so much, and yes, kale is amazing in soups. So much better than in salads. I think I have a pinto bean recipe somewhere. I will try and find it and link it.
This tastes really good. I think I messed up because im cooking the beans with the tomato in with them on the stove. I think..they might not get soft. I hope they do.
What can you use in place of kale? I'm afraid I don't like the taste of it or the chipotle either, I'm a wimp when it comes to hot / nippy food 🥘 otherwise the soup sounds great, regards Carol
In place of the Kale you can use Cabbage or any dark leafy green like Bok Choy. Also when you try the Kale do you remove the center rib? It is bitter and gives the taste that people associate when they do not like it. If you take that out the leaves are rather mild. In place of the Chipotle seasoning you can use smoked paprika and it will be deliciously smoky.
@@justaddmusclecom maybe you don't get my question...I buy them lose from bins...theyre not in pre packaged bags...so how would that translate to cups? Have you tried pouring them into a measuring cup? Should give an approximate volume cause I dont have a scale
Xicos I got you now, and I just took a 2 pound bag of dry white beans and poured them into a 4 cup measuring container. So 4 cups is equal to about 2 pounds. This recipe takes about that much and it is usually the amount I cook to have enough for a family of 3 or 4 and left overs.
I have and also used wine and a bunch of other mediums, not quite the same but I will settle eventually. Both of my grandparents lived 98+ fully mobile and conscious and my mom and dad are both about to hit 80 this year with great health, yet they have eaten what we would consider shit their entire lives, from tons of animal products, and fats, to alcohol daily and cigarettes.
My mother who was a great chef taught me to always bloom the seasoning first. Thanks for sharing. Looks good!
You are welcome, she was absolutely right. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
BTW it's great to see a chef tasting and commenting on the food they have made keep your recipes coming regards Carol

You added parsley, but at the end you mentioned cilantro. Was it cilantro you added?🤔
It was Cilantro. oops
Good job getting the kale into the food program.

Where is the exact recipe. I need to make this soup today!
Is this an instapot? If so, instant release or natural release?
I am so glad I found you. I was told to eat lots of beans because I have very low iron.
Can I skip or cut down the rice?
Thank you.
You sure can, beans are and excellent source of many nutrients. Also greens like spinach and Kale are great sources of iron. 😊
My apologies if you already mentioned this and I just missed it... but how many cups of beans are you using?
The multi-bean soup mix may come in a 1 or 2 pound bag.
I believe he said two pounds which is equivalent of 900 grams. 😊
Thank You! Next time I'll follow directions. Saw your ingredients and I just dumped in the rice, tomatoes n kale etc. Then you said "saute" first. LoL
😂
Super 👌 👌
Thank You so Much. 😊

Spinach is good.

How many cups of bean mix? I buy them by the pound not really in pre packaged bags...
I usually do 2 pounds at a time.

@@justaddmusclecom prefect! Thanks!
More garlic , some potatoes , some half and half and blended a little bit .
I thought beans needed to be in a pressure cooker for about an hour and a half.
the problem with 15 bean soup beans is I have to pick out three beans from it because they are all different types of lima beans
Lol whats wrong with lima beans?
@@justaddmusclecom They taste awful to me.

Skip the oil.
There is zero reason to add oil.
Paula Shelton Except for the fact that it makes a huge difference in taste no there is not another reason probably.
Healthy Recipe Channel Have you tried sautéing in vegetable broth? I’ve found my dishes are just as tasty.

Actually the oil cuts down on it foaming up in your pressure cooker.
Also adding a ts. If Apple cider vinegar does also
Get to the point.
