Went out to start my truck this morning and it was doing the same thing, one click no start. Ive noticed the headlights and dash flickering while starting the past week or so. The batteries are from 2020, I think they are fine. I'll look at the power module thing. Thanks for the video.
I’ve tried pulling the PDM out of its case. Can you explain how to release the wiring which seems to be bundled up tight underneath or are you releasing the connectors by feel?
Thanks man, this exact truck came back not more than a month later with another can network failure and the communication lines in the harness that runs along and up over the Frame located directly under the drivers floor pan we’re both shorted out on the frame from chafing.
Dam, so just one wire to fix no bus. Do you have videos fixing those type of wires and what tools are needed? Also, how difficult is it to replace all those little wires to put new ones.
There are a lot of them and they run all over the truck. Go watch the Jeep gladiator videos, I explain CAN BUS a little better in those ones to give you a better idea
Hey I have the same issue with my 2013 1500 Hemi I took it to the mechanic and they change the ABS module the problem stop for a couple weeks then it started again 😢
Sounds like you’ve got a wiring issue, although it could be a separate problem however if it’s giving you the same symptoms than most likely still has the same problem
I have code p0088 and the truck is shaking in gear, no TH-cam video has fixed the issue, do you have an idea what could be the problem. New lift pump, new cp3 and actuar
Do you live in an area that sees a lot of rust? If I had to take a guess I’d say either your fuel pressure sensor is failing or possibly a wiring issue
All that for one wire. Damn I miss the old days when it was more mechanical than electrical. Now days it seems you have to be an electrical engineer to work on vehicles.... Came here because I have a check engine light on, locked in 4th gear (limp mode) and I get a P1776 code. Truck is still running and sounds fine... it's something electrical so I guess I have to hire someone like you that knows what they're doing. my reader is very basic and doesn't give me any information other than the code.
Hey 👋, thanks for the comment. I uploaded this last night but to be truthful that was only part 1 of three total combined issues that I later found out the next day (today)see the real reason the bud was crashing was from the park assist can high and can low wires in the harness under the driver‘s side of the cab that go up across between the cab and the frame and the harness had rubbed through on the frame and compromised the can wires. This actually caused the flickering lights and truck to die. Just before finding the can wires I did find a bad wire in blue connector under the power distribution block that was for the transfer case switch. Let me look into that code for you and see if I know anything that can help

Did you fix the problem? I’ve got the same thing happen on my truck?
@@deckerbob It was the battery. You never know if its the alternator, battery or something else.

nice fix
