Here are video links to my OutBack Power Inverters. Please tell me what you think and what you've learned from these equipments. th-cam.com/play/PLSNjIRSnUPDJuwRjErU8cisMJ2_f58ANZ.html
Do you know if I can use any solar controller with the outback inverter or does it have to be an outback controller. I will be using the FX2012T inverter in my van.
You can use another charge controllers that's fine. But it will be nicer if you have the same product and they will communicate better without fighting each other. Thanks for asking buddy and don't forget to LIKE SHARE and SUBSCRIBE
So i will have to buy a seperate Charge controller right? I have a 69Volts 500Watts Solar panel and 48Volts battery bank, Thanks for the quick reply, you've earned a subscriber 🙏🏼

I got one of these second hand but unused. I don't know the history of it. The inverter light goes green, but there is no output power. I know my connections are good, because there is output power when I have the AC input hooked up to grid power.
I assume it's on search mode. Continue to watch my videos you might find some helpful tips on your journey. That for stopping by, please LIKE SHARE and SUBSCRIBE
@@jwsolarusa According to the manual, the green light would be flashing, and it stays solid. Also, as far as I can tell you have to have an external control panel in order to initiate search mode, and I have only the inverter.
@@jwsolarusa No, and I was under the impression that they were not necessary, just nice to have for more functionality. I may have bought one in the future, but not if I don't even know if this unit is functional. Thanks
Why it is a bummer? It is more flexible with the lithium batteries out their than a 24V system. It will operate on both 32V, 36V and the max dc input is 42V very close to a 48V lol
Way back in the day, thirty two volts was common. Many of the highly desirable Jacobs wind generators were thirty two volts. I still have a barely used 32 Volt Vanner inverter from the early 90s.
@@johnwyman6126 believe it or not our town used to be 32 volt, they used Dunlite wind generators... People at the end of the town would have "brown out" conditions... Before my time but I scored heaps of the old gear...most of it stripped down for copper $$$ now but a few enthusiasts have kept old generators running...we used the motor cooling hot water in a tank to wash our clothes 😂😂😂 no city fairys here
Does the inverter break..if water gets into it ?

Is it true that, should anything go wrong with the Outbacks, they are easily serviced whereas others would have to be replaced if they broke down?

You welcome buddy.

Hi jwsolarusa, i saw settings for Mppt on my vfx3048e, does this inverter have an internal Mppt?
It's built in inverter/charger so you can hook up a Generator or Grid Power.

You need a MATE2, MATE3 or MATE3s to program the inverter.
I thought you already had one of them
